Super Mario Galaxy
Modern Warfare (1 and 2)
World of Warcraft (seriously? i could get the same entertainment playing Runescape and THAT'S free)
Uncharted (1 and 2)
Killzone (samey repetitive shooter that just gets praise because its a console exclusive)

Portal.

I'm a Valve fanboy and I'm sick of hearing of it.

It wasn't that great in my opinion.
This
In fact, everything from Valve
They're great, we get it
CoD
Bioshock
System Shock 2
Deus Ex
Morrowind
Bioware's games (and that's coming from a hardcore Bioware fanboy who has no doubt annoyed other with such praise, but enough is enough at some point.)
The two first fallouts
Planescape: Torment
Bioshock
Minecraft
WoW
Silent Hill 2
Painkiller. It flowed like ass if you tried to actually collect the damn souls, the bosses weren't all that great and the graphics looked like something I'd expect from the wii
Zelda games
Early sonic games
Bioshock
Mafia 1&2
Braid
The Persona games (you'd think they were the jesus of JRPGs or something)
CHRONO MOTHERFUCKING TRIGGER. Seriously, it's dull as all hell
Earthbound, for reasons mentioned in the above entry. Yawn-o-Rama
Final Fantasy VII. People. It's over a decade since it came out. Shut up already.
To some extent, shadow of the colossus

I realize this post makes me look like a hateful, hateful monster, but I'm just in need of some venting =P
Jesus christ, what DO you guys like? Disliking certain games receiving praise is ordinary up to a point, but many - if not most - of the games people talk about on these forums are included on those lists.

Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops (I know it's not out yet, but I'm saving myself the hassle of coming back to edit this post at a later date), Halo Series

Maybe it's not necessarily that they hate the games, but are just sick of hearing praise for them. Like eating too much of a good thing might make you feel sick.

I get sick to death of people bitching about MW2.

I think we all figured out the multiplayer was unbalanced around around 8 months ago, I don't see why everyone has to keep going on about it.

And the campaign was awesome, bast-shit crazy defiantly but still awesome.

This, without the "Valve fanboy" part. In fact, I'm sick of hearing about Valve in general.

No, I don't want to hear about why Gordon Freeman is the best protagonist ever.

No, I don't find references to the Spy hilarious.

No, I don't feel sympathty for the Companion Cube. It's a damn CUBE.

I love Valve's games, but I'm sick of hearing about them (as pretty much everybody has already said.) I like the COD: Modern Warfare series, but it's no where near as good as everybody says it is. Don't even get me started on Halo and Resident Evil...

World of Warcraft, it used to be a pretty damn good game that I loved to bits and pieces, but after BC, it just fell apart, and still EVERY year, people shout how it's "God-Gift-to-MMOs" about it's newer and newer crap launches. Most these people who praise it are the newer folks post BC who haven't even tasted the original, when it was the true form.

And don't get me started on how the news staff here seems to post something about WoW EVERY day, I'm actually about to quit coming to this site, as that's all I ever see.

On a lesser note: Half-Life and Halo. Good games, but people seriously need to quit praising it just as insanely as the WoW fans.

I am VERY sick of hearing about both the MW and Halo series'. They are both extremely overrated IMO.

On a side note, I never finished Bioshock, I loved the story, but for some reason I just could not get past the gunplay mechanics. Was anyone else never able to get comfortable firing weapons in that game? It just seems so "everywhere", I can't really explain it...

Halo. It's slick, playable and very polished, but when I revisit some old school FPSs I'm quickly reminded of how shallow it is.

MGS4. It's basically an 8 hour movie with stealth and shooting mini-games. Maybe if you've played the entire series then it's awesome, but I can barely believe it even qualifies as a game, let alone a great game.

Portal and Bioshock.

I enjoyed playing through Portal but I get sick of hearing/seeing innumerable people go on about how that AI and its ever-present song as well as the bloody companion cube are soooooooooooo orrrrrrrrrsum. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Fallout games or Grand Theft Auto games.

In both cases the games are fun and playable...but I see nothing about either franchise in recent years that actually make them stand out.

I actually disliked Mass Effect 2 very much so. I hear a lot about how great it was, but I could never get into it. Funny enough I thought Mass Effect 1 was a great game.

Gears of War
Left for Dead 2 (I really prefer the original, while all of my friends like the second)

And Jericho. C'mon guys, I know it was amazing, but lets just stop talking about it.
