I am proud to say that i have finish every game that I've laid my hands upon... except one. one game that i may never have a chance to play again. that game is Hybrid Heaven for the N64. it wasnt that hard and i was on the second to last level but I never got to finish because a certain someone felt the need to sell me and my brother's games for a certain substance. :'( but oh well.

GTA:San Andreas - Keep getting to about ~66%-75% of the way through and my savegames corrupt. After about 4 times of that happening I said "bother that nonsense" and haven't tried again.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - Similar story, got about 75% of the way through and had to reformat, and my savegames wouldn't import even though I'd backed them up. Just started replaying it, about 40% of the way through now.

F.E.A.R. - Yet again, savegames lost in reformats; I can never remember to back them up since they're saved in such an asinine place. The repetitive tactical combat becomes absolutely trance-inducing the 5672th time through the first half.

Condemned 2 - At the museum level, ran up against a guy in a full suit of armor wielding a huge axe who caused my weapons to break in about two hits and was immune to the taser (because wearing a bunch of METAL makes you IMMUNE to electricity, amirite?). Yeah, FUCK THAT.

Actually, a list of the games I HAVE finished would be shorter, as I generally don't finish the games I get. I just get stuck somewhere in most games, although thanks to FAQs I do persevere more nowadays. I wonder what the ratio is for games people finish as opposed to ones they don't...

GTA 4 I just got bored and started killing people, but even that sucked cuz i would just end up sniping cops on a rooftop and occasionally RPGing helicopters in between cheating, so I just put it down.
Kingdom hearts 2, I got to the final boss but couldnt beat him before having to go to bed, and when I came back to it I had to beat the other three bosses in a row before fighting him so I flipped it the bird and returned the game...

Can't say I'm too bothered with not having finished this game, but Spider-Man 3 ...

I think I was fairly near the end. Got to a level where you're in the sewers defending some kind of devices from Lizards. Got to what I believe was the third device in the level and you get a small battalion of lizards gang up on you. Tried it countless times using every move I could think of, but I'd either die first or the device would get destroyed.

I was starting to leave handprints in the plastic of my control pad from gripping it so tightly, so I decided to turn off the console and calmly trade the game in.

Every stupid RPG I play that has 100% completion requirments to view an extra 2-3 minutes of ending....that's what YouTube is for.

No, and I will not beat hrdss boss 5 times to see the "couple endings" with each character- even though I love Star Ocean II and III.

I got about halfway through Lost Planet before I stopped giving a crap.

I also stopped playing WoW once my warrior got to level 69. I've never brought myself to start playing again.

Super Mario Bros. for NES, WoW, GTA 4, God of War, Bully, Gears of War, Ace Combat 6, and Dead Rising.

Same reason for all, I got near the end and in the case of WoW level 64 and I just cant find the motivation to finish them, they just stop being fun and turned tedious and in some cases repetitive. Some of them I really wish I could find the desire to finish but its just not there. When a game stops being fun and becomes tedious, its over.

There are lots of them but one that sticks in my mind is Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. I loved that game, but when I got to the parts with the floors that dropped away, I simply couldn't beat them. I really wanted to finish that game, but couldn' figure the floors out. It's games like that where you need a cheat that lets you fly or something so you can get past the parts you simply can't beat and see the end of the game.

Hmm I guess I'm in this state with Twilight Princess at the minute. I've just finished the Gerudo Fortress bit of the game and gotten into the second Forest Temple and have completly lost interest. The game just doesn't seem to have the fun spark that the old Zeldas had.

Croc: legend of the Gobbos

I got all the way to the Baron Dante's castle but there's this one level that had this platform, a huge cavernous gap, and a platform at the other end. I was supposed to work out a way of creating a makeshift bridge to the other side using some blocks. Yeah, screw that, I was like 5, I fiddled with the blocks for a bit before giving up and trying to jump to the other side (didn't work, not even close)

In the end I used a password cheat to kill the Baron Dante, but since I skipped 3 or 4 levels, I didn't technically finish it.

OH! And Rayman, I still cannot to this day find all the electoons... again, used a password to get to Mr. Dark, but not really a finish :p

... I have thing about not beating video games. It drives me crazy when I don't. It did take me about a year to bother to try and beat Ultimecia at the end of FF8. I think I should have never caved to my obsession with beating things cause she took me like three hours nonstop.
