yep, have you ever wanted a game so badly, that you would search up and down for it? And what game/s was it?

i don't actually have any personal experiences, i just wanted to hear all your stories.

Let see, there is:

Battlefield 2, I couldn't find it in the end and just bought battlefield 2142

Grim Fandango: I ended up buying it from ebay after searching for weeks.

No more heroes: Every time I went into a game store, I would check the wii section for it, after a year or so, I gave up. Then less than a week ago I found it for $15 au as an ex-rental at a video rental store.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. cost was pretty steep, but it was so worth it.

I went around to maybe 10 different stores looking for the Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection before giving up on looking in stores and ordering it off the internet.

Well I searched the entire EB Games store the other day for a copy of Demon's Souls (they were having a big sale). Alas, there was not one.

I not only went to seven different stores to find a copy, but when I got it I found out my GameCube didn't work anymore (lack of use, probably) so I had to go buy another. This was all to show my friend how amazing the game is. He still hasn't returned it.

a long time ago, final fantasy X-2. took me about 3 months to find. Of course, that was before I realized how bad it sucked. biggest waste of time and money ever.

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, Not too hard to find unless you want a new copy which is impossible, some people charging ridiculous amounts for it but well worth a buy.

Sly 2 is everywhere, Sly 1 not so much (Lucky back when they came out, and I was a lot younger my mother enjoyed it, So she would buy it Day one, If it wasn't for my mother I never would have gotten to play Sly or Jak...)Sly 3 is just a ***** to find.
i believe there are a few copies of it on ebay right now..... actually, im gonna go check.

Back before the days of Ebay I searched high and low for Chrono Trigger and it was always super rare. I was also too poor to afford it for $50. One day I did find it for $30 at a flea market, and still to this day I have the same cartridge. It is my favourite console game ever and it was worth the wait.

They also have shit tons of new copies at my local GAME store for around 10 bucks.
A couple years ago I was struggling to buy even second hand copies on Ebay, how the times they are a changin'.
