Mass Effect, cannot be arsed.
And whaaaat? If you skip out the side missions, you can get the story done in like 20 hours. And it is well worth it. I loved the space battle cutscene at the end. Its worth completeing just for that
I personally love the side missions just as much as the main plot. There's always some twist or interesting little part to them, except maybe the one with those monkey creatures (though shooting them was fun). And the main missions are some of my favourite ever. I thought nothing would trump Noveria, then I go to Feros, Virmire; all made me squee.

KOTOR
(same problem, on the planet below the forge thing)
You were so close my friend.
yup, my brother picked up the game like a month before me and I watched him beat the game before me

so I dropped the game, I wasn't interested in it anymore

especially since he strong armed the boss,

he didn't heal and took every hit, he barely took damage and hacked him to death

Same here. I got bored when Penelo left the party. That was like four hours in.

Also, the first Ratchet & Clank. Just got stuck, never looked back.

Lots of games, Chrono Trigger, Genji, Maximo, X-Men Legends 2, Maken Shao, Persona 4, Nocturne, the first Raidou, Digital Devil Saga hold on.....Isn't it funny how most of the games I throw in the trash or sold are made by Atlus? Why can't I finish them? Because they are inherently evil meaning ignorant grind fests with poor graphics. The most fun I had was with Persona 4 because the soundtrack was sick.

Crackdown, Prototype and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The first three because they give you absolutely zero incentive to actually do anything in the game. Yes, there are all manner of options of things to do, but no actual incentive to do any of it. "We have this awesome new power for you to use! You can use it if you want. You don't have to, though. Only if you want to." Lame.
Uh the first three? I think you only listed 3 but whatever.
I would go with Dead Space, as someone said, couldn't get into it.
COD 5, found the campaign boring, focused on online.
Prince of Persia (the new one) Played past the first temple type thing and realised how pathetic the game is...

I started a long, difficult and boring side-quest, strayed from the main plot and eventually got frustrated and chucked the disc out the window.

Dead Rising, unfortunately. What I did was every time I died restarted the game so that the next time I start it I could have all my stats from before. Well, I had played it so many times that it got boring and it became Groundhog Day: The Game. I found out where all the weapons and side quests were, so each time I played it I added to my strategy but I just got tired of it. I'm going to have to beat it before the next one comes out, though.

I never passed Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast, I did everyone's missions and it was time to do Big The Cat and I just could not catch the frog I must have tried for a total of 24 hours and the first pool he in he only grabbed my hook once and he pulled it to far and broke the line and I died >< so I guess I never will pass that game I even tried a few ways mention online and I just gave up really it was not fun fishing but i did catch tons ol fish ^^

On top of that somehow the disk became unplayable and well I just stopped really ><

Dark Sector. What a turgid mess that was. I mean, cutting someone's head or something else off of them is supposed to be fun, and was for a few minutes, but then I got so, unrelentingly bored that I switched off the game when I came across the zombie-peoples (or is it "infected" like all modern zombies seem to have to be called nowadays?), and never looked back.
Ugh same here, and at the same bit from the sounds of it. The face that you first meet the zombies in a very generic sewer didn't help matters either. Real original.
Awww you two didn`t even get to the invisible boss ,who could kill you in one hit, what fun he was

Resident Evil 4 - I gave up at the part with the laser doors, I was playing on PC and my gamepad wasn't really good so I just couldn't get the timing down

Mass Effect & Dead Space - Ran like crap on my PC (Mass Effect crashed everytime I tried to access the galaxy map)

Star Wars: Empire at War - I was really bad at it

PoP Warrior Within & Far Cry - Lost interest after about ten minutes

Secret of Mana - Now this one I desperately wanted to finish, I loved it, but after getting more than halfway through, my savegame freaked out on me and left my characters permanently at 4 health with no way of changing this... yeah, that pretty much ended that experience for me

Oblivion, Valkyria(sp?) Chronicles, and Shadow of the Colossus
I'd like to finish these games, but I'm just not motivated enough to...
