So, it seemed Lenah didn't want to give up her staff...that was probably the wisest move as Mira couldn't peice together how Lenah would be able to effectively retaliate without it. Still she took note of this, mainly to watch out for and hopefully help counter it when they began fighting on the same side. Of course, she would need to concern herself with that later. Right now, she needed to focus on her friends counterattack.
Said counterattack seemed to start with Lenah growing a tree from the ground, in what Mirabelle could only guess was a set up for an actual attack. She contemplated attacing just then, throwing Lenah onto the defensive and disallowing her the chance to use her tree in its intended way, but quickly discarded the idea, since she was far too late to start trying that. If she yad wanted to do that, she should have started moving immediately, instead of sitting there and mulling over her increasing knoledge mid-fight. Either way, it stopped mattering as Lenah began to move, hoping onto one of the tree's branches and making it extend as she ran along it.
When she got close enough, Lenah jumped up, ready to strike down...but Mirabelle only noticed this in passing, as she realized that the branch still extending and striking from the side. She tried to jump back but it still managed to strike and tangle arond her arm. Changing tactics she grabbed the branch and pulled, putting her whole body into it, managing to break the branch off...only for Lenah to come down, striking where Mira's shoulder had been only a second or two ago, and where her elbow was now. The sudden weight on her arm from Lenah and what was left of the branch caused Mira to topple over onto her back, letting the Spear dig more into her elbow, knocking into and displacing any of the metal peices in its way before hitting one of her supports, halfway into the metal.
Trying to recover from this new development, Mirabelle scrambled back up and pulled the spear out with her good arm, pushing it (and hopefully Lenah) away before jumping back to test her damaged arm. Unfortunately, she had lost the ability to move anything below her elbow (along with the elbow itself) but she still retained motion in her upper arm so...maybe she could use it as a flail in a pinch?
Deciding that it was probably the time to at least try and take the offensive before it stopped being an option, Mirabelle rushed forward, swinging her damaged arm like a flail at Lenah's side. While she did that, she readied her other arm to grab and stop any retaliatory attack.
