"IF we run into such a demon, I'LL deal with it. I finally figured out how to go to Limbo and back so I can just drag it there and splatter it, or strand it if it?s of the 'big and stupid, but tanky' verity."

He really had to choke back the urge to snap at Sierra?s shear arrogance, but after a moment he gained control of himself and sighed. I hate working with amateurs. ?That sounds like a useful trick,? He said finally. ?Would?ve been good to know that beforehand.? Still think Seth should bounce her out?but not my call. ?Okay, then how about this. Same plan, but if we find something we can?t deal with quickly, I?ll get its attention while you send it into Limbo?and don?t bother fucking arguing about how ?you can handle it?. I have actual and extensive combat experience, and have been doing this since before you got shat out.? Mind the temper?

Turning to Solomon, Viktor listened to him talk about his lack of supplies. ?Mr. Thorn, if you like I can make a call to my people and have them make up a batch of rounds for you. We have priests of the Orthodox Church that work with us to make our weapons, and yes they do know what we really are.?

"Well since your plan was 'run away and let a bunch of genocidal sociopaths handle it', I figured I should say something before you act on that plan and end up getting some one not related to the mission killed cause you gave those lunatics a reason to snoop around." Sierra jabbed back, not really liking then 'holier then thou' tone Viktor had used at the end.

'Arrogant, short sighted vampire ... be glad when he's gone.' she thought, now liking the vampire a bit less then before.

She decided to not bring up the fact this hinges on the demon in question lacking the ability to leave Limbo on its own. If that ended up being the case, she'd just handle it like she figured she'd have to anyway. Instead she just let the conversation switch over to Viktor and Sol and hopefully a solidified plan so they could get started.

"Hey hey, play nice with each other," Sol said, hoping to get them to stop bickering like children. "No fighting during the planning, sweeties, else I'm going to give you both a time-out," he continued, sarcastically, though there was something distinctly calming and diplomatic about him. Mostly his gestures. That said, Viktor seemed to have enough of a control of his temper on his own, and addressed Sol.

"Mr. Thorn, if you like I can make a call to my people and have them make up a batch of rounds for you. We have priests of the Orthodox Church that work with us to make our weapons, and yes they do know what we really are."

"I like it better when you call me Sol," he replied, though he nodded as he reached into his pocket and pulled out the revolver.

"I'd be fine with that, as long as it doesn't make me your slave or anything. For this then. Whatever calibre it is, I never was good with guns. I can't afford something super-expensive, but I'm always in the need of more blessed silvers. And, unlike some of the less conventional items this job makes me stock, they're not perishable. Always a plus."

He didn't even want to think about the condition of some of the meat he had lured werewolves with. One could say it was his speciality, though it was the keeping them alive part he was known for, taking up the offers of those who wanted him to deal with those cursed with the werewolf form, who might not even know what they were, and get them to chase him, into a hastily put up cage or into a trap, anywhere he could keep them till the night had ended.

"So, is this the point where I ask if anyone knows where to get alcohol, and if they want to come drinking with me? Or is that an after-job thing around here?" To him it didn't really matter that it was too early to be drinking, as it was either that or getting the jet-lag get to him. Standing up, he motioned to the other group.

"Hey, anyone up for drinks?"

"Of course, it was only a proposal, the change sounds like a very good idea considering what we might be up against."

"Alright then, moving on...um...I assume, from the last conversation that we want to get there while it's still daylight, so...um...when are we leaving to carry out our orders?" Mirabelle asked, trying to ignore the arguing from the other team. They did seem to be getting quite loud over there...but any problems that they did have would probably not be any of her business, as a few of them would likely tell/angryily yell to her. Instead, she tried to stay focused on the topic at hand, hoping that whatever problem the other team had would be resolved when they got back.

Continuing on, she asked, "Do we have a specific time that we want to leave at or are we going whenever it is convenient?"

Viktor supressed another sigh as Sierra snapped back at him. The world is a lot less ?black-and-white? then you believe. He thought. Sure the Iscariot had a nasty reputation amongst non-humans, and their human compatriots, but they weren?t all like that; hell he?d run several joint operations with both their Mexican and Brazilian operations, but now wasn?t the time to get into that.

"I like it better when you call me Sol. I'd be fine with that, as long as it doesn't make me your slave or anything. For this then. Whatever calibre it is, I never was good with guns. I can't afford something super-expensive, but I'm always in the need of more blessed silvers. And, unlike some of the less conventional items this job makes me stock, they're not perishable. Always a plus."

Viktor nodded in response to Solomon?s request. ?May I?? He said, gesturing to the revolver. Once Solomon handed over the gun, Viktor did a quick check of it, noting the calibre, and sniffing it to get a sense of the grade of powder used. Satisfied, he handed it back. ?They won?t get here in time for this operation, but they should arrive pretty quickly.?

"So, is this the point where I ask if anyone knows where to get alcohol, and if they want to come drinking with me? Or is that an after-job thing around here?"

?Thanks, but I?ll pass. Just remember to be well rested and sober for when we go?or I may be tempted to finish that meal you skipped out on.? He said, giving Solomon an overly toothy grin. Sitting back, he pulled out his phone and dialed. ?[Yes?]? The same male voice answered. ?[Jason for Madame Butterfly]? Viktor replied. ?[So soon?]? The same female voice said eventually. ?[New information?]? ?[Sadly, no. I need some supplies. Forty four magnums of the Three Forty Grenadine for the centennial, and put wings on it.]? ?[Very well, we?ll expedite it to your location.]?

"Memorizing it won't help them. I can sift through their heads while I have control of their bodies. Though depending on how recent and how secret they kept a memory can lengthen the time it takes to access it. The most I've ever taken for such memories is a few days."

Jarrah raised an eyebrow at Jack as he mentioned this new ability of his (or, new to Jarrah's knowledge at the very least.). Jarrah trusted Jack completely, but the thought of anyone sifting through his memories sent a shiver up his spine. Then the topic shifted to what would happen if the cultists summoned a demon, something that made Sierra and Victor come to (thankfully non-physical) blows over their opposing thoughts on the subject.

"Hey hey, play nice with each other," Solomon cut in. "No fighting during the planning, sweeties, else I'm going to give you both a time-out."

Jarrah smirked at Solomon's response to their two teammate's bickering, and his thoughts turned to Isaac, who no doubt would have had a similar response to the current situation. Lamenting the fact that he had left, Jarrah idly wondered what the Changeling was up to at the moment, no doubt half a world away, and silently kicked himself for not finding out some way of keeping in contact with him before he left.

"So, is this the point where I ask if anyone knows where to get alcohol, and if they want to come drinking with me? Or is that an after-job thing around here?" The mention of alcohol brought Jarrah back to the present as Solomon stood and asked the other group; "Hey, anyone up for drinks?"

"Well, the only decent bar I know around here got destroyed by one of these assholes demons," Jarrah said, nodding his head at the picture of the cultist's hideout as he said 'these assholes'. "But sure mate, I'm game."

As Solomon and Jarrah went off for drinks, and Jack and Sierra went off to do their own things, Viktor set to getting what gear they?d need for the operation. Very early on he found his job hampered by the Administration itself; aside from the meeting room, a few empty storage spaces and the dorm, Gungir had no assets. What a fucking kludge operation? He thought bitterly as he placed another call to the Clan?s Japanese operation, something he?d really wanted to avoid doing when he?d gotten the assignment.

Calling ?Madame Butterfly?, he raided the Clan?s operation stash for the gear he needed, and commandeered one of their modified people carriers. While he waited for that to arrive, he began studying street maps of the area.

--Several Hours Later--

A Clan thrall arrived to deliver the vehicle and gear he?d ordered. As he checked it over, Viktor was surprised to find that they?d managed to even get the ammunition to him, and that had had to come from Vladivostok. Pleased with what he?d received, he went back to his other tasks.

Once the ?Shrine Team? reconvened, he handed out the gear he?d gotten. Every member got a Russian military ?surplus? personal radio, with throat mike, and tactical gear to wear instead of their personal clothing. He also handed Solomon a box of 100 rounds for his revolver, and a ?surplus? set on night vision goggles. Once everyone was changed and kitted out, they went over the plan, and set up code names, before heading out.

Viktor: Alpha One
Sierra: Alpha Two
Jarrah: Alpha Three
Jack: Alpha Four
Solomon: Alpha Five

--Now--

Viktor pulled the van off onto an overgrown side road and stopped. ?Ok,? He said, turning in the driver?s seat slightly. ?The shrine is half a click up this road; remember, me, Sierra and Jarrah will clear the perimeter, Jack and Solomon?ll slip in for a recce and if possible a ?bag-and-tag?, before falling back while we three clean house. From this point on code names only.? With that everyone left the van and began moving towards their assigned locations.

Well this takes me back. He thought as he slipped through the bush, he stealthiness having more to do with his decades of experience than his vampiric nature. Leading a barely trained group of fools to attack a well-equipped enemy, with crappy intel, little resources and no back up?well at least this lot is harder to kill. The trip to the old shrine itself was quick, and as Viktor settled himself into cover, he surveyed the scene. He could see two standing ?guard? against the building, though it looked more like they were just chatting, while others moved through the brush surrounding the area; from where he sat, he could positively identify seven targets, though there were probably others on the far side of the building.

Since the only ranged weapon he had was far too loud, he decided to stick to the two poor bastards patrolling the bush together in his sector. As he stalked through the undergrowth towards them, he heard a grunting noise and realized he?d missed one; about five feet from him, and fortunately up wind, a ?guard? was propped against a tree with his pants down. He was so focused on what he was doing, he never realised Viktor was there until he felt Viktor?s meaty callused hand grab his throat, and by then it was way too late. Breaking the man?s neck with a squeeze, Viktor dropped the body into its own mess, before resuming his hunt for the first two. They were no more aware of Viktor?s presence than their, now deceased, companion was as he loomed out of the brush behind them. With one powerful motion, he slammed their heads together hard enough to crush both skulls, before catching the now limp bodies and dragging them into the forest. ?Alpha One clear.? He said softly into his mic.

Drinking had been fun. Some of the others had come along too, which made it even greater, getting to know people was always fun. Though Sol was careful, too much fun and he'd be unable to fall asleep. Of course, that had turned out to be a bloody disappointment. Apparently, he was supposed to sleep on the couch, in the dorm common room. During the day. While the monsters were still using it. Sighing, he had done just that, though he had covered his face with his hat and kept his coat on, just in case. It wasn't exactly protection, but it was enough to make everything just about comfortable enough for him to drift off to sleep.

Of course, the part where he was awakened by the others wasn't so fun. A bit too short of a nap, in his opinion, and he was half asleep as he listened to Viktor explain what the fun gadgets they were being handed were, and how to use them. They had been given new clothes, and the instructions to put them on.

He had stretched and gotten dressed right there -he wasn't exactly shy- before attempting to put his coat on over that. That had earned him a rather angry look from Viktor, and he had quickly removed it again, lamenting the cooler inner pockets of the coat. Now there was just a bunch of pockets that he wasn't sure what to do with, because they were on the outside, and therefore less useful.

Of course, he had gotten some items to make up for that. A pair of night-vision goggles, which would do nicely, and a hundred bullets for his revolver.

I wonder if he'll forget he gave me these if I do a really good job.

Doing the math quickly in his mind, the average cost of the bullets as well as quality and amount.. he shuddered, that was quite a lot of drinks. Then came the talk of tactics, and apparently they had code-names as well, Sol's was Alpha Five, which honestly sounded extremely dull, but he suspected Viktor just liked simple, military code-names.

Then came the car-ride, waiting, anticipation, with Sol not being sure just what was expected of him. He had said what he could do, but he was sure it had been clear that he would act somewhat independently, so he didn't understand what the need for codenames was. It had dawned upon him, however, that this wasn't going down the way he thought it would. From one of the new, uncomfortable pockets, he fished up a rosary, and closed his eyes, reciting the prayers in his mind as he followed the beads. It was a habit he had before most of his hunts.

"The shrine is half a click up this road; remember, me, Sierra and Jarrah will clear the perimeter, Jack and Solomon'll slip in for a recce and if possible a 'bag-and-tag', before falling back while we three clean house. From this point on code names only."

Sol nodded, though he felt eager to get going. Moving together in a group wasn't clever, perhaps it was safer for him right now, but it was risky, even if it was just getting closer to the shrine. Besides, he itched with an eagerness to act, this wasn't how a hunt was supposed to go down, you had to use instincts. And his instincts told him to get away from the rest of the group and enter on his own.

"Alpha One clear."

He wanted to move already. Sol almost ran at that moment, towards the shrine and into it to do what he did best. Alone. However he sighed, he had to keep to the group, and instead he lifted the radio and spoke.

"Can Alpha Five move soon?" he muttered, awkwardly. Well, the way he spoke wasn't awkward, it was rather clear, but he felt like a fool for having to ask. "I don't have a good feeling about this."

Juliet had of course gone drinking with Sol, it was always fun getting to know new people after all. Part of her was somewhat disappointed that he was a normal human, it did mean he would be less flavorful than some of the others, but still there would be fun to be had in pursuing him regardless.

_________________________________________________________________________________

Now

Juliet stretched her arms, smirking slightly as they approached the mission sight. Briefly she felt her teeth shift into what they were when she assumed her demonic form, then regressed them back to human teeth. It was a bit of a pointless exercise all things considered, but she liked to feel that her teeth were still sharp at times like this.

Still smiling as she took the lead she turned to Mirabelle "Mira stay with me," she said "I hope everyone remembers the formation, lets get moving."

There was little telling what the mission might hold for them, but hopefully it wouldn't be boring.

"Mira stay with me, I hope everyone remembers the formation, lets get moving."

"Uh, Okay?" Mira said, confused. It hadn't been that long ago that they had talked about the plan so Juliet reiterating her part of the plan just seemed odd to her. Unlike Juliet, Mirabelle declined Sol's drink offer, mostly because she figured that she had caused enough people to waste money on her. Besides, she didn't want to risk becoming a designated driver, especially since she didn't know how to drive. So instead, she went to go visit Lenah and give an apology for what happened and afterwards consigned herself to the common room, deciding to read while she waited for them to leave.

Slotting herself in place next to Juliet and keeping pace, she couldn't help but feel nervous about this plan. Some of it came from setting herself in the front of the group, which she regretted now that she was actually here, but most of it came from Juliet being up there with her. For her, Juliet's presence wasn't a comfort so much as it was a reason to always be on guard...not that she wouldn't be anyways, of course. Still, at least it was better than having both her and Tomas in front, where she had no idea how she and Will could cover them, even if they did spot an attacker beforehand.

"I remember the plan...so, i assume that we go now?"

Jack

Jack hadn't paid much attention to the rest of the conversation, completely ignoring the bickering between their leader and Sierra. He didn?t the have time or the patience to play babysitter for them.

"Hey hey, play nice with each other," Their intermediary cut in. "No fighting during the planning, sweeties, else I'm going to give you both a time-out,"

The light scolding of the vampire and half breed almost made Jack chuckle. Once their conversation was concluded, he had made his way to the library of the school. He had a few hours worth of time where he could at least research how to form a more proper dagger. One that was far more likely to kill.

Later

A few hours had passed and everyone was being handed their gear. He simply stared at the radio and protective clothing. He sighed as the vehicle took them to their destination. He proceeded to keep the gear on him for now. He was most likely going to dump the gear when he turned into his natural form anyways.

Now

"The shrine is half a click up this road; remember, me, Sierra and Jarrah will clear the perimeter, Jack and Solomon'll slip in for a recce and if possible a 'bag-and-tag', before falling back while we three clean house. From this point on code names only."

?As you say,? Jack replied as he made his way into the shrubbery, making his way as close as he could on foot through the shrubbery before dumping his gear. ?This is Alpha Four. I can?t bring my radio any further with me. For those who are not as ?fast thinking? as the others it means I?m not going to reply to radio chatter once Alpha One gives the signal to move in.?

Sierra was still fighting with this tactical gear a little, clearly it wasn't designed with some one as gifted as her in mind, so she ended up leaving the op a undone a little out of pure comfort, and since no ones had the brain cramp that would have been required to hand her gun, she simply made sure her 'Bakuzan' and the Claymore she got from Seth where already out and ready to go, verses just summoning them as needed due to the light that process gives off, not to mention the magical foot print of using such magic, which is also why she went into the mission sans her 'glamor'.

once on sight though, Sierra took of toward her position, and as expected, found a couple of guards, sluffing off a bit, and having a casual chat. Instead of simply slaying them immediately, she stayed hidden to see if there was anything worth while to glean from the conversation. Sadly, there was not. Apparently this cult had some 'fine ass hotties' in it's leadership though. Sierra waited only long enough form them to get into a position she found favorable before, in one smooth motion grabbed and snapped the neck of one, and impaled the other through the heart with the spade of her tail, before stuffing both in the bushes and moving on to her post.

She was stationed by a wall, apparently Viktor didn't trust her to do much besides flatten the place and thought guard management was beyond her ability, not that it mattered, from her post she had a pretty decent view of the temple grounds. "Alpha Two, in position, with eyes on the compound. Every thing looks quiet so far." Sierra said over the com with an experience in tone that surprised her, and the heavy feeling of Deja-Vu she'd had since the start of the mission wasn't helping.

Tomas

Tomas follow the women from behind as they walk towards their mission. Hoping it would be a simple pick up and nothing else. He really didn't feel like fighting today as he look over his team. While Mira is fighting is efficient enough, she still seem a bit clueless in how the human world works. Plus both Will and her seem to have the same problem.

Speaking of Will, Tomas turn his head to look at the youngest member of the group. While he did seem calm, Tomas could tell by the look in his eyes that he wasn't ready for this. Though he could hardly blame him. None of them were ready for a mission so soon. They didn't train as a team yet, and just barely know each other.

'Damn school and rushing them out so fast..' Tomas thought to himself. Next and last person on the team was Juliet and he had no idea how well she can fight. On top of that, he didn't trust her. She was too friendly to be a demon, or for anyone for that matter. Tomas felt like she was up too something. He better keep a eye on her.

"I remember the plan, I just hope everything goes smoothly."

William

William was trying to fix or at least move the armor around from under his shirt. The armored Mira gave him for protection in case things went south. While he had no idea of what the heck they had, but it seem to have Mira spook. So he didn't question it at all as he continue to fool around with it.

Though really, he was trying to keep his mind off of the mission. He wasn't ready at all and he feels like he going to screw up badly. William had hoped that they would at least train first or something before being fed to the wolves. Though he guess the school didn't have time or manpower to send someone else. Sighing as they continue to walk. Hearing the group chat about remembering the plan as he added. "yeah...just a simple pick up mission.."

Drinking had been a great way of taking his mind off the events that would soon occur, and Jarrah enjoyed getting to know his new teammates a bit better. With no classes on, the Yowie elected, much like Solomon, to get some shut eye before the mission, though unlike him, Jarrah had the advantage of having an actual bed as opposed to a couch.

It barely felt like seconds between when he lay down and when his alarm was blaring for him to wake up, and soon after Viktor was handing out equipment and going over the plan once again. Jarrah was surprised that, wherever Viktor had managed to snag this gear from, that he had managed to get clothing big enough to fit Jarrah's vast build.

The van was slightly less accommodating to his height however, something that didn't help Jarrah's growing anxiousness, and he was the first to jump out when the vehicle had come to a stop.

"The shrine is half a click up this road; remember, me, Sierra and Jarrah will clear the perimeter, Jack and Solomon'll slip in for a recce and if possible a 'bag-and-tag', before falling back while we three clean house. From this point on code names only."

"Got it." Jarrah said, before slipping into the woods with grace unbecoming of his bulk. If he took his mind off the reason he was here, and the equipment he was wearing, the still, darkened woods around him almost felt like home. Almost. Jarrah pushed these thoughts to the side as he approached the temple, focusing on the mission at hand.

The sound of voices suddenly broke through the background noise of the forest, and Jarrah scaled a nearby tree as the voices, two of them, grew louder.

"-nd have you seen that smoking priestess with the red hair? I'd let her practice the rites on me anytime."

"Which one? Half the priestess have red hair."

"You know, the one at the ceremony this afternoon."

Jarrah heard a scoff just as two figures passed underneath him. Jarrah shifted slightly, before dropping out of the tree straight on top of the two cultists. There was a slight crack as Jarrah's elbows collide with the backs of the cultist's heads, and the two dropped like a puppets with their strings cut as Jarrah landed. Once again, the woods were silent again, barring Jarrah's breathing as he looked at the two bodies before him.

Slowly, Jarrah crouched and placed a finger on the neck of the nearest cultist, swearing as he felt the faint ebb of his pulse. The smart thing to do would be to finish off the two while they were out, that was the thought going through Jarrah's head as the rest of his fingers converged on the cultists neck. Seconds, then minutes ticked away as Jarrah crouched there, contemplating the life that was literally in his hands as he heard the crackle of his teammates voices over his radio.

With a barely audible 'fuck' Jarrah withdrew his hand, and moved it to one of the pockets of his vest. A few minutes later, with the two cultists bound, gagged and hidden in top branches of a tree, Jarrah moved into position and keyed his microphone.

"This is J-ahem, Alpha Three. I'm in position."

After a few moments, the radio began to crackle in Viktor?s ear.

"Can Alpha Five move soon? I don't have a good feeling about this."

?Alpha Five, Alpha One. Copy, Negative, maintain position.? He said with a grimace, wishing once again to be doing this with a real Ops team.

"This is Alpha Four. I can't bring my radio any further with me. For those who are not as "fast thinking" as the others it means I'm not going to reply to radio chatter once Alpha One gives the signal to move in."

?Alpha Four, Alpha One. Copy, Alpha Four going dark. Regain radio contact at soonest possibility.? Fucking amateurs! Were you any better? I knew to keep my mouth shut!

"Alpha Two, in position, with eyes on the compound. Everything looks quiet so far."

?Alpha Two, Alpha One. Copy.?

"This is J-ahem, Alpha Three. I'm in position."

?Alpha Three, Alpha One. Copy, Alpha One copies all.? His eyes swept the brush, picking out some of the team in the gloom. Satisfied that they were undetected as yet, he keyed his mic again.

?Alpha Five, Alpha Four; Alpha One. You are go for insertion.? Try not to fuck things up too badly?please.

"Alpha Five, Alpha One. Copy, Negative, maintain position."

"Got it, I'll wait."

Sol cringed, from the few moments he had spent with Viktor, he could already tell that his question hadn't gotten over well. He bit his lip, trying to see what was going on, and what he was supposed to do. He heard something about Jack going to get rid of the radio.

At least I'm not that hopeless.

And then he waited, he stepped back and forth, soundlessly pacing to keep himself at bay. And then, after waiting for what felt like too long, the radio finally made noise again.

"Alpha Two, in position, with eyes on the compound. Everything looks quiet so far."

Alpha Three. I'm in position."

Fucking finally.

Jarrah especially had taken a while, making Sol wonder if something had happened for a moment.

"Alpha Five, Alpha Four; Alpha One. You are go for insertion."

He grinned widely at both the permission to finally do something, and the wording.

"Alpha Five is ready for insertion," he said, making sure it was said suggestively. He moved the microphone a bit away as he chuckled to himself -god forbid Viktor heard- and put it back as he moved.

"Keep in mind, I'm not going to be talking a whole lot when sneaking. Sort of ruins the "being quiet" part. You should be able to hear if something goes wrong." Making his way to a more hidden away entrance, he noticed a lone cultist, keeping an eye out for whoever might have the wits to approach the place from this direction.

I did not want to end up having to kill someone this quickly.

However, he had no choice, advancing in either direction could be risky at this point. Besides, if everything went to hell, it would be one less person to worry about. Sighing, he pulled out his knife, moved closer almost soundlessly. Then, he covered the man's mouth and pierced his chest, making sure to stab several of the vital organs until he had killed him. Picking him up -fortunately, it had been a rather short cultist- Sol dragged the body of this unlucky bastard into the woods, making an attempt at covering it as quickly as possible.

Anyways, back to what I was doing before I was distracted.

Oh yes, breaking in somewhere. Always a joy, though the blood in his face wasn't the kind of accessory he had gone for back then.

"Alpha Five thinks the rest of you could've done a better job clearing this place out," he muttered to the others. His voice was somewhere between annoyed and amused. After that, he entered through a small, narrow window, pushing his body through and carefully landing in what looked to be some sort of storage room. He looked through the keyhole as he put his ear against the door, listening and looking out for people on the other side of the door. If anyone as much as looked his way, he would activate the amulet.

"Alpha Five is inside, undetected." he whispered, again, it would probably be his last message for a while.

Jack

Jack sat quite patiently in his opinion and waited for Viktor to give him the go ahead. Ok, so maybe he was simply itching to get in their but that was beside the point. He waited where he was supposed to.

"Alpha Four, Alpha One. Copy, Alpha Four going dark. Regain radio contact at soonest possibility."

He doesn?t reply as he waits for the signal to go peering into the darkness around him for any signs of danger. He doesn?t have to wait long before Viktor says.

"Alpha Five, Alpha Four; Alpha One. You are go for insertion."

He didn?t waste another moment. He quickly placed the radio down on his gear before quickly covering it with some of the surrounding foliage before taking off. He shifted into his natural form. He was faster and far harder to detect in the darkness like this. He simply phased through trees and anything else that stood in his way. Being in his natural form he was easily able to sense the nearby guards. He kept a low profile while zipping in and out of trees as he moved closer to the shrine.

He came upon the shrine without too much incident. The way the guards were scattered plus the fact that some of them were already dead gave him an easy path to the shrine. He made an effort to scan the inside of the room he was about to enter. It was rather small for some reason but it didn?t really matter. He phases through the wall before looking around. He inspected the room figuring it was a closet that someone had made their personal room. A single chair was placed in the room, a few books he couldn?t read, and pornographic magazines were strewn about the closet. Classy. He thinks to himself as he hovers in front of the door to the closet.

Mid day, Park Team

As the group moved through the park, they got a few odd looks from visitors, but not sign of potential danger, so they arrived at the place they where to meet this contact with out indecent.

'You must be the group here to collect me for your group. Excellent. I've grow weary of this passive existence.' A voice said in the minds of the group, the voice carrying a regal and commanding air to it. 'Before I can leave and relocate to your sanctuary, You will need to undue the wards that bind me here.' The voice continued, showing the group where to find these wards in the park.

Night, Temple Team

In side the Temple, lay six people, all asleep, in the center of the chamber. Along the walls, where the usual stuff you'd find in a cultist controlled place, ritual books, knives for various ceremony's, and so on. The table on the wall with the closet Jack was moving toward how ever, had books and notes that looked to be less 'magical' and more scientific in nature, what with some of the notes talking about project progress and tests run relating to something called 'The Gate Keepers'.

Jack would notice an odd draft and strange vibe coming from the closet.

Jack ? Night, Temple Team

Jack had been hovering off the ground and not making a sound. He was being careful as to not wake up the occupants of the said room. Upon coming to the desk covered in notes and books, he quickly grabbed as much as he could, carrying the items with shadows as he made his way towards the door. Wasn?t there supposed to be someone else sneaking in here with him? Probably want to wait for him before moving into? This closet by the looks of it. It gave off a strange energy and he didn?t really want to go in there alone. He was an asshole at times but he wasn?t an idiot.

Sol noted the sleeping people. The way they were placed, and the fact that the room seemed like some sort of chamber for ceremonies made him uneasy.

Are these bad guys? Or sacrifices?

It was impossible to tell, but he looked at the door, deciding whether to go through it or not. He figured he would have to tell the others about this first.

"Alpha Five, again, there's a room here, a ceremonial chamber with a lot of sleeping people. There's six of them. They could be sacrifices, or they could be cultists, I'm not sure. I'm going to avoid them for now, though, no need to engage them if I don't have to." With that, he left the storage room he was in, to examine what else was inside the chamber. His eyes went to the books, and it wasn't until he was close he noticed Jack. It startled him badly, but he was still not making a sound. It was enough for him to activate the amulet, however, and he disappeared completely.

Oh geez. That was not how this was supposed to go down.

He thought, it would certainly be an amusing thing to mention when everything was over, but now it was simply embarrassing. If he stayed like this, he couldn't even talk to the others. Sighing -though, soundlessly- he deactivated the amulet. How many seconds had he wasted? Ten? Twenty?

Too much, that's for sure.

Sol started going through the books, eyes scanning for anything of note, though most of it looked like it had been grabbed already. He knew that he would have to go through the rest of the shrine soon, and it was foolish to use the amulet here, but hopefully Jack would decide to leave him to it and go explore. His eyes met the shadow-beings, trying to signal that he was going to take over. He scanned Jack, noticing the books the other held, that he could be going through, and scratching his chin.

Well, this is not going according to plan.

He wanted to speak, but he feared waking the people inside up.
