I just don't think women are naturally dispositioned to play video games as much as men for whatever reason.
But obviously there's no reason for those who do not to or not to be every bit as good as a male.

One thing I've found is that my male friends when they play a game are really in it to win it (competitive) whereas my girl friends generally just want to have fun. Thats my own experience anyway.

Oh yes, forgot about this - once, when playing Halo online with my friend morgan (which I am [i/]very[/i] bad at, by the way) I had his little headset thing on and one delightful american chap, on hearing my little voice, suggested that I 'suck this big american dick, you british *****'.

Which was really lovely.

Again, Xbox live people aren't really alive - more like loud mouth Zombies.

Girls are nice to see playing video games beause I find that not enough do as such, but my only problem with certain girls playing video games is if they have emotional problems or if their just plain crazy.

I have to say sometimes it's not all their fault their are many immature people out there that think that female gamers are a discrace.

One example of that being when a girl joined this RP server on Garry's Mod that was aperenly the admin's sister, so once she joined there was this guy asking her if she was a woman and she responded using her mike "yes" and so he started riping on her about it constantly calling her cusses and killing her. I started to feel some empathy towards her untill she started to make a scene about dieing instead of being at least polite first, so I was not knowing to feel empathy or dislike towards her, her mike was not the best in the world mind you. So then the male decided to call her a female dog (you know), so she went all out saying "you know what? I may be a female dog but I am proud of it"... you can emigine how easy it was for the guy to make fun of her after that

I beleive that most girls I have met when in game seem to handle situations like that the wrong way and usualy if you do not feed the troll than he will most likely go away. If all the paranoyed girls knew how to handle situations without making things a total mess than I would love to shake their hand in person.

Note:My intencion was not to say that girls are incapible of playing games I just wanted to say that some just pave the path they walk on.
