Hey, I'm a girl! At least I'm 99.999% sure I'm a girl. I think games are fun! They provide a nice little escape and a fun activity for a while, and I find nothing more hilarious than the whole rocket launcher/close quarters/multiplayer scenario. Games are great social activities (as proven by my last statement) and I would love to play with more girls!

And pertaining to my post...your's had no relevence to mine, or what I was saying at the time. Greifing in CoD, and greifing in L4D are 2 different things. L4D isn't competetive, and alot of times your teamates are imcompetant...you sir, are a statistic!

Yeah ingame flirting is a right laugh. Happens a lot on MMORPGs I've seen, whether it's guys helping out girls, whilst telling other people to bugger off, or the 4yr old mentality of pick on the chick you like. You also get people who find the occurrence of women playing games rare, so are sceptical and try to catch the 'girl' out, as guys sometimes try to take advantage of claiming to be a chick.

In the only MMORPG I ever played, one of the functions was to get married. I think that had a lot to do with why there were so many female characters playing. Most would readily admit they were guys though. But that is mainly why I don't talk to anyone when I play games. I'm just there to play, period. If I want to meet a girl, I'll do it in person. Not to mention, most girls who play games are 10 years younger than me.

From my time playing TF2, I can tell you more often than not, players and especially admins will bend over backwards for you if you are girl. Say a little insult to her? Kicked. Banned.

For the games i play, girls in the game are not uncommon, thus, after the first few came by, "omg it's a girl" became rather lame and nothing was said past it till the little kids came on. and theirs always a little kid with a mic so it'd be rather annoying for the girls i would think.
