Just chatted to my flatmate about it and my ones would be Conflict Europe, which was sort of like a turnbased war room simulation, simialr to Defcon, and Soldier 2000 on the Amiga 500 (with the amazing 512k upgrade lol). Ohh and Codename Iceman, which was like a Police Quest/ Starquest kinda game.

His was Metal Fatigue which he found as freeware/abadonware, which a lot of the old games are now.

Star Control II
One of the best games ever made and yet there's only a handful of people I know who've even heard of it...

Anachronox
I think it's a prime example of very well written characters/dialogues and atmosphere. It's such an unbelievable shame only five people played it. Sorry, but 'Anachronox' wins.

I hereby withdraw my original comment about 'Vagrant Story' and 'Zork Nemesis'

All my friends know about it because I made them sit down and play it with me, but nobody else remembers Gladius. It seems so stupid on paper but it rocks just about as hard as any game I've ever played. Too bad microsoft hasn't added it to the list of backwards compatible games yet, and I doubt they ever will. Bastards.

Lack of people recognising Psychic Force makes me both happy (that indeed only I remember it as the thread title suggests) but sad because they missed out on what I thought was a great game for its time.

I had Dare to Dream and Dare to Dream II on floppy disk, used to play those aaaaall the time.

What else? I bought the Dungeons and Dragons game (was that old it didn't even come in colour was in black and white pixels!) and it came in a big box with a 700 page novel inside it haha.
