Damn you! That was the SZ i wanted! Couldn't find it anywhere, i just wanted it for the flame inlays. Love the S470 as well. Is the S the on with Ibanez's Zero Resistance tremelo? I've always wondered what those things were like.
Hehe I'm sorry brother, I managed to grab the last SZ the guys I bought it from had! It's lovely, sounds great, but is a wee bit heavy for me, now that I'm used to the S470. The fatter neck slows down my hands a bit too. I haven't found a guitar better than the S470 for myself yet, though the Schecter Hellraiser is damn close. No point having two guitars that are basically the same though.

The ZR Tremolo is absolutely fantastic! I don't muck about with the whammy bar much (scared for my strings!) but I can honestly say the guitar hasn't gone out of tune ONCE. Even if it did, the fine tuners on the bridge are so easy to use. Highly recommended.

Lovely guitar you have by the way, white ALWAYS looks damn fine. I love Ibanez!

That's an Epiphone Dot, A Japanese Fender Telecaster, A Vox AC30CC2, an American Big Muff and a Line 6 Tonecore Space Chorus

I really don't need another guitar, but my local axe store has an <a href=http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop_image/product/8da72b3c35e473dd37906c220d99eeb8.jpg> Ampeg Dan Armstrong for about 3000 which I am seriously contemplating. My biggest guitar influences are Brian May and Johnny Greenwood

Lefty reporting in. :)

I've been playing for well over 5 years now. Got myself a left-handed '86 US-built Fender Strat, black with white plate. Had to go to a collector for it, though.

Pics when I can find them!

Johnny Greenwood is a God.

I prefer to play my good ol' acoustic guitar, I just prefer the sound. I have an Epiphone Dove.

I prefer the weight of the SZ. I tried playing my friends RG and it doesn't feel right, i feel like i'm going to break it. I actually like the fatter neck, i don't know why, my hand just fits better on it.

I might look into getting an S at some point actually. I'm a massive fan of mahogany bodies, and since the tremolo's half decent, it sounds pretty good.

I'm not usually a fan of white guitars, but this one looks so clean and sharp. Only £315 as well, brilliant value for money.

I play guitar, purely as a hobby. I'd say I've been playing a couple of years, still not very good though. I have a Yamaha Pacifica 012 (drop C, gathering dust) an Ibanez SZ720 (tuned a whole step down) and an Ibanez S470 (Standard tuning, my favourite). My amp is a Line 6 Spider III 75w. Sounds a bit shite cranked up, but just right for me.

PIC

To listen to, I'm into death metal primarily, but I find blues the most satisfying to play on the guitar.

Yes, I know you're all jealous of my bedcovers.
Heh, I would get that guitar in the middle if it had a reverse headstock! (I don't like Ibanez headstocks the normal way round).

I've only been playing for just over a year, and I suppose I'm OK. Pretty much only play metal and death metal.

Heres my beauty:

Ibanez RGR 321EX. Not a bad guitar to start with, got it for just under £300. And no, those arent active pickups :(

Oh, and just a tip: If you are going to buy a black guitar, make sure its does NOT have a black piano finish. DAM YOU FINGER PRINTS! DAM YOU!

Epiphone Casino, Squire Stratocaster and a VOX 30CCH with a 4x12 matching cabinet.
I have been playing guitar for about 5 years now. I have only had 2 or maybe it was 3 lessons and I picked up nothing from them. I taught myself everything I know on guitar except for the E and A barre chords.

If I don't play guitar at least every two days or so I get really fidgety and can't think about much else. I have a little Fender family (Koa Strat and some sorta Telecaster), an Ibanez, and a few different types of acoustics. I like to play and have played just about anything from drunken bluegrass sessions in a hot attic to progressive death metal, so I have all-arounders that work really well for whatever. Which is a redundant phrase.

I play bass, started a few months ago. It is coming along quite nicely though I can't read music for it properly yet, so I use tabs. I play metal, blues, funk, reggae and abit of rock.

I like Ibanezes. I have a hagstrom ultra swede with a spalted maple top and a super smooth finish.

The neck is super thin and it has great sound.
Long live Metal.

My sister has an Ibanez, and my dad has an old acoustic. I've always wanted to learn to play but I never have the patience to get past a few chords. Someday.

I tried to learn guitar for absolutely ages but I just epicaly fail at it, I stopped playing altogether for about 6 months and only recently picked it up again to bash out a bit of experimental noise and very sloppy punk on my battered Squire Strat. I've got a gorgeous Dean Flying V Michael Shenker Edition but I keep breaking it by pulling the lead out too fast.

I can't decide whether i like the finish on that or not. It sort of looks nice, but then sort of doesn't. I'm not making any sense here.

I've been playing since I was about eleven, so probably about 9 years, I play every possible style that I can, because I used to teach, quite often people would want to learn quite different stuff to the kind of thing that I'd usually play myself. I own 3 guitars at the moment, but have been through countless over the years, at the minute I have:

An Ibanez RG42BP - Neck through, floyd rose, a real shredders guitar, it get's the most play ;)

[EDIT] My ones the step up, with the sharkfin inlays

A Jackson DKMGT - string through, passive EMG pickups, I tend to use this one for drop tunings
http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/photo.php?id=1261

And an Ibanez classical because for the past two years I've been learning Bach and Francisco Tarrega :).

Can't remember how long i've been playing but it couldn't be more than 3 years.
My first guitar was Squire Stratocaster, got it from a charity shop, its purple and glittery but it worked.
Played that for about a year learning from ear mostly rock/alternate rock, chords just kind of happened, i still don't know any of the names of them i just know how to use them in certain songs.
When i thought the time was right to see what a proper guitar sounded like i got a Gibson Les Paul Studio and it sounds fantastic, was hard to get used to holding it and i don't recommend it for beginners but its great.
