What gets me is that you are all "above average" but for the average to be 5.08 inches, didn't half the guys have to be less than that?
And blah, that guy is a douche and I can honestly say I have never called anyone that in my life until now...
There could be some outliers. A small pool of people with extremely small penises that drags the average way down. So long as we're going by mean size, and not median.

Said people are going to complain on the forum about averages.
I am female so if you referring to me as complaining, I am afraid that is not gonna work.
Not complaining, just curiously amused.
JezebelinHell: No there are most likely not any real outliners. If this test is done seriously, then there are just as many people below as above average. It's statistics, penis length is most likely follows a normal distribution.

To the other guy. Seriously how many guys do you think there are that are going to confess that their penis is smaller then average. Even if they are protected by being anonymous.

Hell no, I was in my best shape around my 17th year, not now! :S
Anyway this is really just random stats, wouldn't compare myself to them.

The pull-up thing made me, one that does fifty daily every morning, made me wonder where exactly they got these statistics.

I love that a bunch of guys in their teens to thirtys are wondering why they are above average when compared to an average garnered from every previous living generation as they stand now.

And as far as people go saying they last ages in sex... After anything more than about 15 minutes, I get bored and my girlfriend gets sore so I really don't know what you guys are doing. Unless you guys are throwing sausages down corridors.

Though I'm interested as to whether those numbers are with or without prophylactics, as I last MUCH shorter without.

Other than that, Yes as someone who's only a few years off peak physical state I am ahead of most of these numbers, no I'm not surprised and yes porn has given all of you an unrealistic expectation of average penis size.

EDIT:
How are you supposed to measure how long your orgasm lasts? I'm usually... pre-occupied at that point, and wouldn't even know when to start the timer :S

I'm 9" taller than the average American male.
And a good sight heavier (230lbs)
My biceps probably aren't that big though, I'm kinda lanky.

Interesting little picture though and it's given us something to think about.

Let's see... a full breakdown from the perspective of a not massively active british IT support worker...

Consider myself: Not physically fit, but not dangerously unfit. I can still climb several flights of stairs without needing a breather, run for... short distances, cycle somewhere at a reasonable pace if I need to. Actual fitness level unknown and untested.

Amount spent on vitamins etc: probably far less than that $8-ish average, unless it includes fortified cereals, juices, cold remedies etc. There's packs of vitamins and fish oil tabs etc that I dive into if I feel really worn down, but they're probably more than 2 years old now.

Don't actually have any "fitness equipment", unless you count my trainers (sneakers) and bicycle. Neither of which have stuff hung on them.

Resting heart rate is somewhere in the 65-70 range, which I know isn't great, but could be worse. Blood pressure's OK (funny that they don't include that, or a cholesterol/blood sugar/etc check?)

Maybe get an hour a week of identifiable exercise on average? More? I don't know. I do work on a sprawling, hillside campus with many stairs and ramps, and my job involves moving around it quite a lot - sometimes carrying or dragging equipment, as well as sedentary work in front of the PC (and goofing off at lunch of course). I'll do energetic cooking, some garden work, wash the cars, put elbow grease into other housework etc, occasionally have a bike ride somewhere on a chore instead of driving if the weather's good and the traffic's crap. But the longest sustained period may be a half hour at best.

Weight is about stable. I still fit all the clothes I had at university. It has wavered in between (gone down, gone up, gone down again slightly) but I don't think I'm at a point where fat is gaining and muscle losing ... for now.

If my genetics are anything to go by, I should be able to beat 77 years by a good chalk, so long as I'm careful. I will however agree with 23 as being the best year - just out of college in a lot of cases, or otherwise in an independent position where it's easy to live healthily and devote time to active pursuits.

Time to run a mile, god, I don't know. But that stated time is less than five miles per hour. I can sustain a 3.5 to 4mph fast walk if really burning up the city street, and 12 minutes of jogging at 5mph is probably doable. Just don't ask me to do the second mile.

Am however definitely over the average weight on the chart (probably pushing 200lbs) and can't blame all of it on height (a shade under 6ft). No idea on chest size, push ups per minute, percentage fat, bicep size or all that crap. Waist size is a little over the average - 36~38" is generally what I fit.

As for the johnson... looks like I'll be alright, so long as there's a woman out there looking for Mr Average or slightly better :p

And why pay to watch hotel porn (and be surveyed doing it?) if you have your laptop? Come on.

Mind you I do have to bear in mind that's comparing myself against the average American. (Or "American Joe", I don't know if that's a particular subset they surveyed). Which one would suppose includes the infamously high proportion of flabtacular gutbusters and the full age range up into three figures. An interesting comparison would be to stack those figures up against other nations...

I think I'm inferior to that 'average male' in every conceivable way. tbh I don't really measure various parts of myself very often but I'm short and thin as a fucking matchstick, so I'm willing to be on being worse than him.

And as for the fitness aspect of it (the running a mile in 12:17 and so on) I have no desire to ever time myself running a mile. It's totally arbitrary and I'll never have to run a mile anyway, so why bother fretting about not being as good at it as the 'average' male?

Wow I just have to comment on this;
"12:17 Average time to run a mile" Ha, I can run a mile in 11 minutes (specificly 2.4km in less then 11:13) and I look nothing like the guy in the picture (assuming he is the one who ran in that time)

And I lauged at the other... "fitness" facts on the bottom right.
Did you ever consider that this statistic includes fat guys and old men who couldn't run a mile if their life depended on it? And I know people my age (24) who get winded after one lap around the track (1/4 mile)
Did you ever consider about reading the rest of my post or were you in such a hurry to try and correct me? Please read this which was in my other post: (assuming he is the one who ran in that time)

Compared to the average american male, I stand on the other side of the globe and don't really care for their pissing matches. I have my own to worry about.

Taller, longer, and considering I've got a heart condition, in surprisingly good shape (183 pounds, still got something resembling the athletic build I had in my youth despite the fact that I'm turning 34 this year.) Can't run a mile anymore (the aforementioned heart condition) but 12:17? I can walk faster than that (and do, under a 20 pound load, to and from class every day, with one leg of the trip uphill into about a 100-foot rise in elevation from start to finish).

I'd say compared to your average Joe I do pretty damn well. And when I was younger and not a broken-down old pack mule of a man? I ran a 5:09 mile at age 19. Fought 20 unsanctioned amateur boxing matches (and went 15-5 with 6 KO). Threw a screwball that nobody could hit. I've earned my broken-down old fart status.

Bigger by 3 inches, taller by 6 inches, smaller waist (28 inches), biceps(12 inches) and chest size (32 inches). Sex.... My girlfriend just looked me in the eyes and giggled. Much longer than 10 minutes and 6 seconds today... The excersize things.... idk I can do 3 or 4 pull-ups I think and like 20 or so sit ups/press ups. I'm really not average at all... Or American at all...

Well I guess I'm 10" taller, 90lbs heavier, 4" longer, 14" bigger chest, 2" bigger waist, bunch more pull ups, and 4" bigger biceps.

First off, I'm English, not American.

Age: 19
Probably smaller than average chest. I'm quite skinny.
6' 1" tall.
Resting heart rate is 80, so I think I need more exercise.
Bigger than average penis. Not bragging.
I've got a 30" waist.
I've got small biceps, but I do work out. Bought some Protein on the net and everything.
Don't consider myself physically fit at all.

The stats seem alright, but that guy doesn't look like the average man. He's too well built.

5.08 inches? Damn, and I thought I was under average...

And a 12:17 mile? Is that even possible without walking?
Average mile on a seriously brisk walk is about... yah, 12 minutes.

So, good point. To get a 12 minute mile, you either have to be walking, or taking smoke breaks.
I'm not sure I entirely agree with that. My normal walking speed is pretty fast compared to most people, but I've learned to assume ~15 minutes per mile when estimating how long it takes to walk a given distance (although I suppose that does include occasional street crossings/waiting for traffic). 12 would be pushing it if you're walking for the entire distance.

That said, I remember that we were expected to be able to do it in 7-8 minutes in middle school, when we still had short, stubby, little kid legs, and 10 was considered slow even then. Having the average be over 12, which means many people took longer than that, is kind of depressing when you consider that I've limped a timed mile on two sprained ankles in 16 minutes.

I'm a bit out of shape, and I know it, but if I can easily meet or beat those averages, that's not saying much good about the average guy.
I suppose your right, in a sense.

Let me put it this way... on the Army's alternative cardiovascular test (2 1/2 mile walk), the average soldier (have to be broken to do it in the first place, so maybe not average) completes the test in 30-31 minutes.

30/2.5=12 minutes per mile.

Thats were I got my numbers from.

But I am only 5'4'', weigh 130lbs. Waist if 4 inches smaller.

The other measurements I don't know. :C

I think there's some heavy bull going on here. 34" average waist? In your dreams mate. I know a number of 40+ and very few 32-.

Equally, vitamins and supplements : Zero. But there's a lot of these things that are inaccurate because of definition.

If I say I'm fit - it means a great deal more than if I am fit according to some set rules. The male orgasm lasting six seconds? How in biological hell do they measure that accurately?

This is just another pile of mis-information designed to discredit individuality. Like the men think about sex every X seconds. Totally made-up for people to talk about how often they do - which they don't know anyway. And will lie about.
