I have a feeling Bungie's gonna come out with a new and better game trilogy thats 10 times as good as Halo!

If you think you found something related to Bungie and its new video games, please coment.

By that calculation, that means Bungie will soon release a game that's merely good.

Halo 3 was quite a dissapointment, in terms of gameplay, nothing was really improved upon and several things were messed up. Graphics looked lovely, but nothing really to match the impact of Halo: CE.

Except Halo 3 had better level design.

Whoever designed the Library deserves to die.

"Halo Wars" is being done by Ensemble, not Bungie, though Bungie's said they've helped out with story background stuff. As to whether RTS games belong on consoles or not, I'm willing to see what the guys who made "Age of Empires" can do with a console UI before writing it off; after all, folks said the same thing about FPS games when Rare took a swing at it.

As to what Bungie's doing right now, all I know about is they're assisting Wingnut with that Halo-related gameish-thingy, working on the next crop of DLC maps for Halo 3 (almost finished), poking around on some s00pa-s3kr3t stuff they're not talking about, and (right at this moment, as visible on their web cameras) playing their Bungie Pentathelon.

Bungie is not a company I hold in high regard anymore. Making the Halo series wait to go on PC for 1-2 years after console release never sat right with me, making Halo2's PC version a Vista exclusive outright angered me,
You have to remember that all that jazz was Microsoft's doing, they needed Bungie to sell Xboxs for them so they had to removed their own PC market to do that. Still, the other scenario was that Microsoft didn't buy out Bungie and Halo:CE would have stayed a Mac exclusive.

Ok, to clarify... Yes I know Microsoft was responsible for much of my grievance, but that leaves Bungie as either a bunch of sellouts, or a group of pushovers. After the success of Halo 1, you'd think Bungie would have enough clout that they could tell Microsoft off. If I ever made a game that is fully capable of working on 90% of all PCs in North America and some corporate suit insisted I place a line of code that restricts access to all but 1/10th of my available customer base, I'd delete the fracking game before doing so. And a couple weeks, or a pair of months at the most is all I'd agree to for exclusivity to the X-Box. We aren't talking about releasing it on a competing console, PC users are a whole different fish.

That's easy to say when you are a gamer. But if you were a developer working for a company, being paid by Microsoft, can you really afford to do anything but what they say?

I have a prediction on Bungie's next killer game:

It will involve firefights, guns, vehicles, multiplayer, and some kind of dialogue between charcters.
And will be directed by Michael Bay, voiced with an ensemble cast that we've never heard of before.

And by the end of the game, will never want to hear of them again. Aside from in the obituaries.

I couldn't care less honestly, halo was at best a mediocre fps. I played and beat all 3 halos in one day and had an over whelming feeling of meh'... I'm sure halo wars will sell based on the title alone but it too will live up to be full of mediocrity and let another game I was lightly skim over in search of much better titles. (Titles that are 700ft tall and shoot lazers, pew pew)

What the fuck was the dissapointing part of this game! And dont say the boss fight at the end!

BTW, thanks if you have half a mind to say halo 3 was somewhat good.

The fact that it's not the best FPS out there, and doesn't deserve half the hype it gets. Due to Halo's hype, such gems as the Orange Box are pushed aside by the Halo fanboys, and dismissed as "gay," or "retarded." It's a twitch shooter with a nice coat of paint, but nothing much else.

Don't get your knickers in a twist because people think the game was disapointing. People have the right to say "That wasn't fun", or "That wasn't as fun as it should have been/as I thought it would." They're allowed to say "Halo 3 was meh" As much as I'm allowed to say "I can't put my finger on why, but the Fire Emblem series is just rather meh".
