I damn right care, I've played all three Halo games and can't wait to fight the covies fairly for once
Hate stealth in video games. The only time it was good was in Halo 1,on the first snow level. And you could just go in guns blazing with no penalties. Its how all stealth things should go in a FPS.Do it if you want, and don't have to care if you don't do it.Pyronox said:It looks interesting. Since you're not a supersoldier anymore, you have to use stealth. I imagine lives will make a comeback too. Regenerating health is better for multiplayer though.
That's the thing, there where no invisibility powerups that far in the game. What you did in that level was kill sleeping grunts and elites before they saw you,and that is good stealth gameplay in my book.Is that info better?HMMMMMMMMM!(Did i grunt that out loud?)Pyronox said:Stealth as in STEALTH not invisibility powerups.Connor Lonske said:Hate stealth in video games. The only time it was good was in Halo 1,on the first snow level. And you could just go in guns blazing with no penalties. Its how all stealth things should go in a FPS.Do it if you want, and don't have to care if you don't do it.Pyronox said:It looks interesting. Comon now, a little info b4 posting?
Ditto.That is all.DarkMessiah said:As I total fanboy myself, I care.
I guess part of me really hopes that it won't suck as much as Halo 3's campaign did. While I love the multiplayer and am on XBL with it frequently, the campaign definitely let the game down. ODST is a shot at redemption for the storyline.
I'm also looking forward to seeing the Halo universe from the perspective of an ODST.
Uh, they bought themselves back off of Microsoft like early last year. They can stop making Halo games anytime they want - ODST is being made by choice.Wouldukindly said:In some ways I feel sorry for Bungie, the slaves of Microsoft, forced to make Halo games forever...someone should start a 'Free Bungie' campaign.
It annoys me to see this. They have only said that the team working on ODST will not be working on any more Halo games. They even said specifically that the company might make more Halo games.Connor Lonske said:Halo 3:ODST will be Bungies last halo game, and they have split with MS for some time now.Wouldukindly said:In some ways I feel sorry for Bungie, the slaves of Microsoft, forced to make Halo games forever...someone should start a 'Free Bungie' campaign.

Bungie was divested. They're independent now and have been for almost a year now. They're also completely full of themselves and honestly stopped caring about the series' single-player campaign after the first game, believing Halo to be the ultimate game for the sole reason that they've logged more collective years of online multiplayer in Halo 3 between all its players than the human race has been alive.Wouldukindly said:In some ways I feel sorry for Bungie, the slaves of Microsoft, forced to make Halo games forever...someone should start a 'Free Bungie' campaign.
