The Mass Effect series.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore the Mass Effect series, but the staggering display of sexual inequality and the cowardly manner in which the developers still attempt to ignore the issue is just pathetic.

By Dragon Age 2. Isabella is a huge spit in the face. She is a continuation of Miranda's "I was genetically engineered to give you a boner" and nothing else, because "That's what kids want, right!?" Who the shit do they think I am? Wish I could kill her in the ending sequence.
Wrong. In fact she's the most rounded character in all of DA2.
And no, not only like that.
Notice how she's the one love interest who won't fawn all over you just because you're the protagonist in a BioWare game?
I'd say she's more akin to Jack than Miranda.

The big honchos at BioWare like to claim that Shepard is a "predefined character", in that he or she has a predetermined personality, intellect, and, implicitly, sexuality.
This was their explanation for the lack of any bi or homosexual love interest in either game (a poor excuse at best) and to this day they maintain that stance.
The inherent flaw of this account is that female Shepard can pursue a lesbian relationship.
Now, I know there's a fringe-group of people out there who allegedly do not think of the Asari as female, but really; we all know they are, and there's no use in denying it.
The odd employee at BioWare, however, do in fact claim that Asari are not female, and therefore any relationship between female Shepard and an Asari is not a homosexual relationship. Not only does this seem a willfully ignorant stance, but it is in direct violation of the lore they have established. (The codex describes the Asari as a mono-gendered species, i.e all female).

The utter lack of a male equivalent is bad enough, but when they attempt to dilute and dismiss a clearly homosexual relationship as though it was nothing, I get quite cross.
Not to mention that inter-species relationships (Garrus, Tali) are treated as though it was no big deal, which renders the issue even more absurd.

It's particularly confusing seeing as the same studio's Dragon Age series is such a brilliant display of sexual variety.

I'm offended by every single game that releases DLC before the game is even fucking out.
Why?

The developer made some bonus content that's separate from the main game. That's what DLC is; it doesn't matter when it comes out.
Because DLC has become such a fucking corrupt method of delivering content. Why can't they just release that content with the fucking game?
It used to be that you'd get a complete game, you'd play the game, complete it a few times, and then a few months later you'd find some quality content for a reasonable price.
Now you get a half-arsed game, you complete the game in a few hous, realise how many plot holes there are, and then you realise there was "DLC" released at the same time as the game, and said DLC contains the answer to all those plot holes and inconsistencies.
Huh. I've not had that experience with DLC. Game prices are weird anyway. I mean, a game that you complete in 5 hours is the same price, or more, than one you complete in 100 hours.

I think maybe they are controlling of Shepard becuase he/she is a character akin to Mario for them. The Asari certainly do look feminine to me though. Anyways I can't why you would want a homosexual relationship with any of the lads there I mean Jacob appears to be made out of cardboard for a start. Garrus gets points cos his combat voice sounds like George Clooney... You are right thought its a very bizzare aspect that Shepard will merrily sleep with aliens but won't consider snogging Miranda.

Let's be fair though, you're far less likely to suffer frostbite that way.

If Miranda wasn't the 'genetically engineered super babe' she's supposed to be, I don't think she'd get a second glance. She's standoffish, rude, and obnoxious. Then again, so's Jack.

I pursued a same-sex relationship in ME1 out of curiosity, was utterly underwhelmed by the outcome, so didn't bother in 2. Which is fine really, since no-one was of any interest to me.

Heat clips pretty much killed any potential bonk-on I could have got during that game, anyway.

Give a caveman a spork to kill a tiger with, then see how far our species gets.. Jus' sayin'

Does it count if I'm offended at the lack of a good villain? Or at the "good guys" being utterly retarded with me actually liking the villain better?

The latter is actually me not being offended, just a pet peeve of mine. :/
That tends to happen to me when I play as a self-righteous hero, or when the villain is well written. He/She also have a better plan.
Irenicus was the last villain I had any respect or fear for. In Baldur's Gate 1 it offended me that my character couldn't see that Koveras is Sarevok spelled backaward despite having a 18+ intelligence score, jus sayin :p I think hero's in those games have this retarded ability to become betrayed/trapped/tricked when you can see it coming a mile off.

I thought the "No Russian" mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was wholly unnecessary, considering how the giant loopholes that it leaves. Nothing but a gruesome publicity stunt by Activision, if you ask me.

Not really. What does offended mean? Like, oh no, that hurt me deeply? Or just saying it to see what you can get from a shop?

So as the title says: Have you every felt really offended by a game?
If so, in what way? There are many games for example that offend women by the depiction of female characters in them.

For me, these games come to mind:

1. Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, because it's nowhere near the project of passion that FF7 was. It was a dull grind with a flawed combat system. The character development is so piss poor that I felt insulted intellectually. Seriously, Square Enix thinks that these shallow characters with their big talk are enough to keep me engaged, to make me care for them? All in all, a goddamn insult for fans of the original game, trying to cash in on the good reputation of FF7, with a cheaply done spin-off.

2. Even though it isn't the actual game, I was upset about the debate about Medal of Honor, where all of a sudden it wasn't okay to play Taliban in the multiplayer. I understand that people would be upset that it would be possible in a game to kill American soldiers and take the role of their current enemies. But then it's all very biased and racist. American soldiers are after all just that, American soldiers, just like German Nazi soldiers, just like North Vietnamese Vietcong soldiers, just like Russian Communist soldiers, just like Afghani Taliban soldiers. I don't like that American soldiers should in any way be treated better than others in games. You can have political opinions, but once it's transfered into a game, the game itself just becomes a tool. Btw, I don't actually have anything against American soldiers.
You do realize your not offended right? You feel let down. Unless the game starts racially calling names or something then it is not offended you.

The first one is basically you saying the game was bad so I am offended, what by?

Second one, that they left there spine at home and removed the over arching name of the enemy and your offended, what by?

I bet most people don't even know the over all names of the squads in MW2 or black ops, I know I don't and me not knowing doesn't change the game in anyway.

I'm somewhat offended by the Native American stereotypes in games. The only Native American guy who wasn't a huge stereotype, was that one guy in RDR.
