And when I said that Simon has a fear of knives, I mean he's REEAAAALLY afraid of them, and anything with a sharp edge, really.
I seem to be the Escapist's premiere roleplayer of female characters; I guess others just don't have the balls to play a girl.

Character Name: Ismah El-Sayed

Age: 19
Physical Description: A delicate young woman with bronze skin and long, raven hair. Her otherwise fair facial features are blighted by a disfiguring burn scar on her upper-left cheek, with a few smaller, round burn marks visible on her neck and shoulder.
Background: Kidnapped by smugglers at the age of 11; was forcibly addicted to opium and sold into slavery under a cruel Sultan in Lebanon. She endured five years of suffering and humiliation before finally snapping at age 16-- after stealing a pistol from the Sultan's locked weapon cache she shot her owner and his mistress in their sleep, then burned their estate to the ground with the rest of their family still trapped inside. Using stolen money she fled to America.
Talents: Predatory instincts; Ismah's lack of a conventional childhood with nurturing parents cultivated in her a primal sense of cunning and animalistic survival instincts. She scraps by in America despite her lack of formal education, living on a meager income from pick-pocketing and other forms of minor thievery.
Flaws: Addicted to opium; also her English isn't that great.
Item: Lockpick (hidden in hair)
Sentimental item: Ornate ivory opium pipe; stolen from the Sultan's bedside table after Ismah killed him.

Hey HSIA, this should be fun. Did I forget to mention that Alexandria's genesis makes you basically superhuman? You never get sick or burn from the sun and you'd have to be in Antarctica to get hypothermia.
