So what's the deal here? Do you wait until every character has replied before you post a new segment? Because that would be helpful for me, I have places to be until tonight...

Character Name: Joshua Miller
Sex: Male
Age: 23
Physical Description:Tall, has a slight build, curly black hair, wears ratty jeans and white hoodie various black and brown stains.
Background: Born in Calgary, Alberta, he was always off on his own, hanging out where he shouldn't, talking with the wrong people. The only time he ever isn't off on his own is when he goes hunting with his dad and younger brother. At the age of 14, while on a hunting trip during the winter, Joshua left the cabin, after a heated arguement with his father, just to get some air. On his return, he found his dad face down in a pooll of his own blood with his Buck knife sticking out of his head, and his little brother's head mounted on the wall. Needless to say, he was horrified by the scene. At the age of 16, his mother died of cancer, leaving him to fend for himself. He ended up homeless on the streets, begging for change and looking for the occasional odd job.
Talents: Great survival instinct, great at improvisation
Flaws: Is easily angered, is rather anti-social
Item: Dad's old Buck knife
Sentimental item: Bear-claw necklace his mother fashioned out of one of his father's trophies.

Okay, we are gonna be telling the events of what we were doing prior to the mansion.
I was pissed off...no, more than that, I was fucking furious.
This was the sixth time today that somebody, instead of giving me money, tossed me some fucking buttons.
I was cold, I was tired, and all I wanted was some spare change for a cuppa' Joe, but no, they give me useless buttons instead! Speaking of which, the sixth prick shot me a smug grin, and began walking away. I followed him with blood on my mind. There were so many damn people in the way, that I thought I was gonna lose 'im.
Fortunately, he turned into an alley. I began shoving people out of the way and made my way in.
I pulled out my knife, looking around for the prick, but then-
"WHAT THE HELL?!" I shouted. I was pinned to the ground. I tried to look and see who it was, but he kept my entire body and face pinned to the floor.
"Get offa' me you sonnuva-"
"He needs you there Joshua." the figure said.
"What?!" I shouted. "Who the hell are you?!"
I couldn't see him, but I was sure that the bastard was grinning at me from cheek to cheek.
"You'll see very soon Joshua," he cackled, "you'll see very soon."
I was sure I heard that laugh before, but before I could even continue my thought, I felt a pain in my heart. It felt like a thousand knives of fire burning inside my chest.
My vision is becoming cloudy, my entire body begins to go numb.
"Who..." was the last thing I said before I blacked out.
