I don't like Lightening from FXIII so far. She seems to be so 'no one understands me, I go my own way, I'm so moody, I'm the double of Cloud, blah blah.'
I imagine she'll be changed by the end of the game though, they always seem to...

The guy is a jackass. I know he is supposed to be a jackass, in which case... good job making him not likeable to me.
In videogames, I can't stand Dante. He is just a whiny and annoying brat with no good reason to be whiny or annoying. And the attempts to sell it to me as a "COOL" character just didn't work with me.

For tv: Sylar. There is a difference between developing a character and being indecisive. Don't get me wrong, I do like him when he's actually a villain since he's not being a pathetic b**** who pretty much obeys any order he's given.
For movies: the two kids from 28 Weeks Later. I was considering saying this for everyone in that movie, but the zombies actually seemed to be the smarter than everyone else, and the army was a little bit smarter than the protagonists (though seriously? in case of zombie infection, don't have everyone lock themselves in their rooms and be able to check on them there, but rather put them all in a cramped room so that if one is infected, everyone is?!). While most of the characters seemed to be operating off of an IQ of 50, the kids' apparently were lower. They went out into a zone that was quarintine because of a MASSIVE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE to get a photo, despite warnings that there could still be infection around. Their stupidity continues to lead to more stupid decisions by everyone in this movie. Plus, they are kids in a horror movie. That's already enough reason to hate them.
For games: Hakuman from BlazBlue. This stems more from the fact that my first playthrough of arcade mode ever (as Ragna) was brought to a screeching halt by this guy. He could generate the neccessary energy to take out half my health in 10 counts and continued to kill me for about an hour. Then it turns out that he's an @$$hole to everyone, even to the point of telling the world to go f*ck itself at the end of his story (pretty much saying that they deserved the wrath of the monster he saved it from, and that they should spend their days repenting).

Optimus Prime hands down. One of the most shallow characters in Transformers, right next to Megatron. If anyone wants to say "Hey! It's a children's cartoon!" There are some dynamic and original characters in that show but the two main characters are cliched idiots.

Admittedly, the in-game dialogue could be pretty horrific. Epic made the classic mistake in modern gaming by having the character development outside of the actual game/game-play. He is made to seem a lot more human in the Gears novels.tellmeimaninja said:
