What bugs me is that you refer to the drills as if you were the only one who suffered "I had to go outside cause of the dumb bell " no shit everyone feels the same way as you right now.

While the constant fire drills were an annoyance, the focal point for my argument is the huge waste of money and, if rumors are to be believed, possible fatalities that ensued.

I knew that. Most likely the kids will have to pay the school to pay the bill.

sorry for not picking up on this. Excluded is not like expelled, It's more of a suspension. If you are excluded, it will be for anything from a day to a week, where you will be denied access to the school and it's grounds. So in escapist terms, It's not the be all end all of banhammerin's.

There are a lot worse kids out there. In my old school there was a guy who threw a fucking discus at a teacher. A DISCUS. A 5 KILO DISCUS. HOW?!

A guy in my school threw a desk, A DESK! at our teacher after, because of legal mistakes, he was allowed, not only back into the school, but into the same class where he sat in the front row smiling at her

I remember that at my High School we never listened to the fire alarm, it went of something like 5 times a month and nobody ever moved from there seats. It actually got so bad that when there was an actual "Fire" (just a smoke bomb) it took 20 minutes to clear the building because nobody believed it.
PS. 20 minutes in a school of ~1500 students is really bad

When the year Elevens (which is the last year of school where I am) leave on their last day (they finish like a month before everyone else), they set off all the Fire Alarms.
Every single year.
Now I don't mind, it's like, twenty minutes out of class, and luckily the fire engines don't come/get called out.

I'm in year Eleven now, (or will be, starting tomorrow), and I won't get off any alarms.
