When I was in 6th grade, some idiots from the 4th decided that it would be extreamly funny to build a fake explosive charge out of all kinds of garbage and plant it in school.
Now, this is Israel, okay? And it was 5 years or so ago, when terrorism here was still kind of new to us and very frightning. You can't imagine how much panic this stupid prank caused. They called police, army, news reporters, school was evacuated, all this shit.
So... fucking... stupid.

How great would it be if the car accident had the parents of those kids in it?
Sigh.
One can wish.
well i first thougt yes they deserve it but, the parents dont. how about orphanage?? XD

anyway i think the kids should be expelled not excluded expelled!! and everything those children have (savings/belongings) should be used to pay for the bills

the problem is that the kids that will do this arnt punished properly as they are unlikely to care about exclusion (several weeks banned from school) they're more likely to go no school.... yaaay!!

anyway dont say well the parents should have raised them better as yes those around you affect how you are but some people i live with are worse than you would imagine and im well behaved, and i would never pull that shit!!

so in conclusion those children should be expelled and charged (not the parents they can pay for it with their own stuff or work)

you know im not happy to be grouped with what is known as youths as we are thought of as horrible, and yes there are some but its not fair is it. i mean there are pedophiles out there i dont assume every adult is one so how about the same respect!!

On my 3rd year in High school during the first weeks there were several fire alarms pulled and bomb treats called in. What my school did was dye the fire alarms so the teachers would know who did it, which lead to the bomb treats but in the States thats a felony so they were caught and another false alarm never happened again. I know what you went trough it was infuriating and they made us stand outside the entire day one time, in the sun, it was horrible.

That doesn't surprise me to be honest. That happened once with my School, We were outside for about an hour and a half while some idiots were pulling the Alarm.

Chavs grow out of that... right?

I'm surprised they weren't caught after the very first alarm. The high school i went to had cameras everywhere so somebody pulling an alarm or something like that would have been caught pretty quickly.

Hold those kids back a couple years. They thought it was so damned funny, make them stay there for a while longer.

I was never a misanthrope until I started high school.
Same here. I can feel your pain OP, I believe it was my freshman year, someone called in a fake bomb threat that forced everyone to divert to the middle school for half the day. I believe they did catch the culprit. Then I remember having to go to the rec. center just across from the school during my senior year, but that one might have been a practice drill, I don't quite remember.

Hey the parents did nothing...
...and?
I'm not saying the parents deserve to be injured/wronged, but it would make me smile if the kids had done something which resulted in a series of events that would haunt them for the rest of their lives.

If schools were private and unregulated then the delinquent students could be expelled, and it'd be possible that their parents would have been contractually obligated to pay for any damages (the fire department fee).

If the fire department was private and unregulated (and if it was immune from being sued), then it, like the villagers in the story, would have GIVEN UP when the "boy kept crying wolf", and could have responded to the car accident.

The moral of this story is that when government tells people what to do, they start acting crazy.

I think that the car accident victims should be able to sue them, but they should also have to pay for the fire brigade to come out. Make them split the bill evenly between them and if they don't pay they get put on probation until they do.

Not even going to check if someone has said this.
It deserves to be said again.

Don't criticize high school idiocy until you can use an apostrophe correctly.
Are you going to add something to the discussion, or just criticize my grammar?

We regularly have people who have fun with those fire alarms at my campus.
Everytime it wakes me at 3 AM,I run to check if they did it anywhere near my room.

One day I'll get a budget from the aministration to install small webcams and fucking booby-trap the alarms.

Idiocy continues well after high school I'm afraid.
