I'm not surprised, personally I think he'd see it as more of a challenge, like when two rival gang members see each other then face off.

Anyway, I did totaly call this when I was at the midnight release. I'm kinda excited, but I'll hold off on watching it, since he can be a bit easy with the spoilers.
The only reviews I'm actually excited about him doing are Halo: Reach and Portal 2.

I really am not surprised. Hit a popular game across the face with a Imp and people flip a shit and cheer. I'm fine with Smash Brothers but watching all the fanboys flip out because he said it was garbage was just great.
It's Yahtzee's opinion, if he doesn't like a game then oh well. I liked the day levels of Sonic unleashed and he ripped that game a new one, I thought the review was wonderful.

Yeah, that's great, actually. I think Yahtzee knows that his watchers understand his views on JRPGs, so he'll probably spend very little time on the Anime-esque aspects of the game, and focus more on the gameplay and general story, which I think is good. I haven't seen it much, and I have no intention of playing it, so I think this will probably provide some valuable insight.

The auto battle system making you feeling like you aren't needed, annoying ***** being annoying (Vanille), the linearity and then probably the dialogue too.
I really don't need to watch it, I like the game and his criticisms are unreasonable, will annoy me when I watch it because he's a Valve fanboy, nothing more and nothing less.

I think he might actually enjoy this one. The battle system is different enough that it doesn't really feel much like a traditional Final Fantasy at all.
