The lights and bustle were almost too much for Knox when he first walked into New Vegas. He'd heard of it, and of course, everyone had seen the lights in the distance, but the feeling of everybody doing everything all at once is overwhealming. He and the other Kahns had been shooting the shit everyso often, and somehow the subject of heading out to Vegas always came up, but were shot down pretty quickly thanks to the lack of caps.
One day after a particullarly long day of messing with the NCR tools, Knox was sitting in his tent in Red Rock Canyon tinkering with a radio he found when a mysterious voice came over it.
"Hello Great Khans, this is Robert House. It has come to my attention that you posses a particular wish,to restore your clan to its former glory, and to maybe get back at the New California Rebublic for it's actions. I can help you. All you have to do is send your best warrior to New Vegas, the Lucky Thirty-Eight to be exact, one day from today. Thank you, and have a pleasant tomorrow"
He rushed the radio to his father, who then without a second thought sent him to the city.
The 38 was really...big, and empty. It looked like it was all set up for a party, and that creepy Securitron with the cowboy hat outside said to wait for the others...who else would be in here?

As Dead eye walked into New Vegas from the monorail he could not help but notice How large the Lucky 38 was. After he recieved a message from a Mr. House on a radio line that was supposed to be secure he figured it must be important so he left his Snipers nest over Cotton wood cove, since he had the right amount of recon done.
He first went to the NCR embassy to speak to Ambassador Crockett about a short leave which was accepted and he wemt on his way to the lucky 38.
But there was someone outside. Someone who was an enemy. He took off his 1st Recon Beret to keep a fire fight from breaking out around civies. He aproached the man "You get called here too boy?"

Knox eyes the new man, notiong the sniper rifle but stops in a dead stare at the beret.
