Isn't that their mission statement?

Lambda0 squared T r. Which could be matrix math or complex physics stuff, I don't know.

I hope they catch them so people on PSN feel a tad safer, including my friends.

Whoever did it is going to be in the shit.
I agree.
And I must ask, is that a helmet from PixelJunk Racers as an avatar?
touchable. Instead of saws hidden in the cake, there will be only death. And slippery tiles.
Nope, it's Guy Manuel's helmet from the French House-Duo Daft Punk.

This reminds me of back when that guy hacked into Valve and took the early version of Half-Life 2. The FBI went after that guy too.

They couldn't catch him.

Though that guy was stupid enough to send an email to Valve admitting he stole it with a detailed description how he did it and asked for a job. Maybe this guy/guys will do the same.

Homeland Security? I though they wanted to CATCH these guys, not find out what books they took out of the Library.

Well it looks like the kanji for person (hito) and the lower amount seems to the atomic weight of "hito." The upper number obviously denotes "hito squared." Lastly Tr is definately a new element added to the Periodic Table of Elements. See it adds Ti (titanium), and Zr (Zirconium) so the new element must be Titaconium.

So what you should type there is:
Hito with the atomic mass of 0 squared times Titaconium.
Happy to help. :D

OT: Oh good, the more we have people looking for these punks the better. I say once their caught we... Pfft... I dunno, tie them to the Golden Gate Bridge by their toes.

Homeland Security going after cybercriminals? I wonder how many innocent websites they'll shut down THIS time.
You know, that was the first thought in my head. Whenever Homeland Security gets involved, everything goes to shit.

"Mr. President, it's time to use the kill switch."

"Very well." *presses the internet killswitch with a peice of paper taped over the label, "Skynet" written on it in poor penmanship*

Also,

What the fuck is that!?
Isn't that first symbol Lambda? Like in the Half life games? Maybe its a sign from Valve...

I was wondering when we'd stop the blaming and get some other people involved in the investigation.

AND WHAT THE FUCK IS QRIOCITY? AND WHAT DOES IT KILL THE CAT?

I hope they find the hackers, and I hope that they suffer.
You guys are like, sooo stupid.

Everyone knows its all Sony's fault! Did you know, for example, that their servers are protected by nothing more than a mouse trap, some lubed-up floor tiles, and a copy of Justin Bieber's 'Baby' on repeat?!

OT: Well can they hurry up? I really can't be arsed to call my bank, and I just got done memorising every single digit related to my debit card, just so that I don't have to search for my wallet every time I buy something online.

call the bank how stupid can you be gezz your card may have been hacked call the god dam bank and tell them and get a new card if your card has been stolen and you lose out on money because you were to lazy to phone a bank then its your own dam fult
1) Who was you English teacher?
2) I was (partly) joking.
3) I have moved all my money to my other account anyway.

Totally irrelevant, but I watched it for the first time the other day, and I can safely say that I'm not so keen on the ol' lust any more. Or sloth, or gluttony for that matter. Or any of the others that much.

*shudder*

So they can recruit them...
Hackers are very useful allies...
This guy knows what he's talking about. Why send them to jail when you can take advantage of their talents? Strike a deal with them that if they swear on pain of death not to use the information they stole, they can work for the government instead of going behind bars.

Of course I would still recommend monitoring them in case they get the urge to do something like this again.

These hackers when caught should be put in a sealed of cell with no light. Fed using white cups for their water and black plates for their food ( no reflections ).And fed at random intervals once per day. Total and utter sensory deprevation. not so tough without your technology to hide behind now huh.

But on a slightly more serious note.
WHy would the hackers settle for a piddly wage when if they can do things like this and steal $100 from 77million people...

While I was reading this thread, the two front legs of my chair simultaneously broke. First my PS3 now my seat. IS NOTHING SACRED TO THESE HACKERS?

On a serious note, I hope these guys get caught quickly. They deserve punishment for their crimes.
