Every now and again, time slips away from me when I'm playing Lord of the Rings online. I tell myself I'll only go on for an hour or two at eight in the evening...next thing I know its 3 AM. Nothing compared to some of you, lol.

hehe during last years Christmas hollidays, me and my girlfriend racked up 24hrs on oblivion, switching characters of course, also toilet and food breaks included hehe the xbox never went off, consumed a pack of no-doz and a 6 pack of red bull each ahh good times!

Closest thing I have is 16 hours a day everyday for 10 days, parents wouldn't let me stay in the house by myself, so it was off to grannys to play ps2 the entire time, i am sure ill clock up a few 20hr breaks over easter though, might try beat RE5 in one play through, i played cod5 for 6 hours straight though earlier, not bad considering i am sleep deprived and have loads of college work due.

I will always remember, but the first time I installed and tried Baldur's Gate 2, I played 32 hours straight. The second game I played close to 30 hours is DDO during the Beta Stress test when I first discovered the game.

Sorry, maybe the title is not very clear, but what I wanted to know is what is your record of hours in a row passed playing a game...
Mine would be 22 hours straight: i was playing Resident Evil 4 with a friend and we didn't go to sleep until we finished the game... From 10 pm to 8 pm next day...

You should have started at 10 AM and ended at 8 AM the next day to be as close to the games time as possible. Afterall, that game takes place in only one day.

I have to share the TV with my brother, so my record is only five hours I think, and that was when we both played the Endless Setlist on Rock Band.

My longest is probably 12 hours, me and a few friends over live went through the entire Halo 3 campaign on Legendary, is was soooooooo fun. Tsavo Highway was the hardest... freaking Choppers.

19 straight hours of Cabal Online... Just did them two days ago. Also I had 22 or 21 straight hours playing CS with friends.

edit: Also 16 hours of KotOR though the computer got ****ed up and restarted with the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)

Question: With or without sleeping?

Question: Does passing out in your chair, but not leaving and still holding game console in hand count as sleeping or playing?

If it is without any REM whatsoever, then mine is around 20 hours.

With some REM in there, but not full prone sleeping, then it is much, much longer. I can remember three gaming sessions in particular where beer, pizza, Eggamuffins, multiple sunsets and sunrises, and dice were involved but some REM was achieved by all participants.

fastest i have beaten a game would be in 7 hours over night which was gears 2 but the longest i have ever played would probably be like idk 36 hours on warcraft III battle net and Diablo 2

Well when I first played Oblivion I played it from when I woke up to when I went to sleep for a week until I'd done everything I wanted. It is probably the most immersive game I have ever played.
