I see nothing wrong with it. Though I would like it to be immersed into PC gaming as well, if only to tell those PC faggots that I'm not an inferior little toad.

btw anyone who thinks the controler should be changed is living in a dream world they arnet going to change it.
We're not living in a dream world because most of us who complained about the controller don't give two shits about whether they change it or not. We were simply saying that it would be a good place to start if Sony wanted to make the PS3 better. Honestly, even if they did make the controllers better I still wouldn't get one. I already have an XBox and am happy with it. No reason to spend any more money.
so what you think sony going to say. "attention! every ps3 owner your controlers wont work pass (some date.) and you need to all buy new ones, every game on the ps3 will need to be update to fit the new controller."
Umm, in case you didn't notice.... Xbox and Sony controllers have the same amount of buttons. Making the L2 / R2 actual triggers instead of the half button / half trigger monstrosities they are now and repositioning the left analog stick will NOT require any software changes whatsoever, nor will it cause the other ones to become obsolete. God you're ignorant.
yes I know they do. accutaly. not true. can you push in the analog sticks? also the combinations on some games are diffrent and are studited for that consoles contorller.

Wow... You really are ignorant. Of course you can press in the analog sticks on both systems. Also, I dare you to name a cross-platform game that has different control schemes for PS3 and 360. If you don't believe that Sony can change the controller without reprogramming, I'd like to remind you about this:

wow I am guessing you dont own a ps3 for one. the controllers dont even look like that one. One like what someone said in another topic sony invented the idea for duel analog and so they arent going to change it and copy the 360. Also I am sure when I played soul calibur 4 on the 360 it had diffrent controls as the ps3 but you know what? this is my last post cause I know you can probaly keep going on and on for days and so I am not going to so bye.

Hmmmm...
- The price is way better now; 300 bones is respectable for a blue ray player AND game system
- Online operations are fine and FREE
- The menu is pretty intuitive
- Some solid exclusives are out or will be soon (MGS4, The Last Guardian, Uncharted 1&2, Infamous, Heavy Rain, Resistance 1&2, whatever really good-looking racing game that is, etc)
- You can charge controllers from any computer's USB port
- Everyone has used a Playstation controller at some point in their life
- There's no "Red Ring of Death" or whatever disease the 360 sometimes gets

On the other hand
- 360 has a library of exclusives (Mass Effect, Halo, Alan Wake, Gears of War 1&2, L4D 1&2, etc)
- It won't have Perfect Dark 64 this winter

Maybe i'm crazy, but i really think the PS3 is better. The biggest improvement i can think of is for Sony to go back to the old OS b/c the lastest update makes my games spaz out sometimes.

I see.

Yeah, i've had the PS3 when it first came on the stores, and i bought anything that i would deem to perhaps be good. As i found out with my newly purchased TNA: iMPACT game, that the 75% of the 80 are not worth having and a waste of good money.

But i flat out refuse to sell ANY of my PS3 games. Ever.

I have to say, 2 things are wrong with that.
1. the PS3 yellow lights, but thats about 9% of the time, the 360 has a chance of 51% of dying a cold and bloody coloured death.

2. I'm not sure about Mass Effect or Alan Wake, but GoW 1 and 2 are not exclusives, there on PC, Halo 1 and 2 are on PC and eventually 3 will be as well, L4D is on the PC and number 2 will most likely be released on 360, PS3 and PC.

I think Sony should get their ownback on microsoft, by buying exclusive DLC rights on certain multiplatform games.

I was always gutted they took away the backwards compatibility. So many ps2 classics I'd love to replay on my new Darth Vader breadbin, so that'd be one way I think to make it better. Also the controller coming out with proper triggers instead of marshmallow pads would definitely be high up there too. I bought a set of clip on thingamies that have improved things immensely, but the fact that i had to improve something fundamental isinfuriating...

It is a great console though. I'm now lucky to own both it and the 360. 360 still, in my opinion has a nicer controller, and a solid catalogue of exclusives - but I like the bluray drive, web browser and free online play in the PS3. Xbox Live sub fees are a little cheeky if you ask me - as is the Microsoft Points system.

Also it looks like more and more games are coming out that'll optimise the larger disc space and [arguably]more powerful[/arguably] processing capability of the PS3.

It'd be great if it did my laundry and cleaned my loft conversion while I was at work, otherwise I'm perfectly happy with it.

Actually, I would like a faster Blu-ray drive in it.

I've actually wanted to play MGS4 since it came out, but lacked the money for the console. Are you and FPS fan? If so, would it be better to get Killzone 2 first or one of the Resistance games?
Resistance all the way.

I have had ps1, ps2, ps2 slim and now a ps3 I don't want the controller to change, I am familier to the way it feels, its size, it's weight and the triggers.

You don't need those stupid trigger "enhancments" to stop your finger slipping off, if I can play dirt 2 while laying on my side then it doesn't need work.

The thing they should change is the XMB, it was fine till they started adding things to it and now I can't turn my ps3 on and it plays what ever is in it, so if I play a game then turn my ps3 off then turn it back on again I have to press "X" to start the game were as before I could turn it on and the game will start automatically. It is a small thing but they shouldn't have changed it.
