Yeah, I second that. At this stage a full sequel on a new engine would be the only way it won't be a huge let-down.Onyx Oblivion said:Episode 3? If it's not Half Life 3, I'll kill Gabe Newell.
Because a game that's been in production a lot longer is coming out before a game that's not been in production for as long (if at all for that matter)?dogstile said:Now that you've pointed it out, i'm rather amused.
I mean, valve fanboys are hilarious as it is. This makes it funnier.

Wasn't the whole point of making episodes to ease the pressure on Valve and allow them to pump out shorter game, faster and cheaper? It's not like they're making a whole new IP it's part 3 of a stroy they've been working on this whole time. They have the engine, the characters, the setting and should have a conclusion.black orchid1 said:be truthful guys do you ever really think you will see it anytime soon? valve has put off making for other games e.g. portal, l4d and a few still in development do you really think they realease anything when they can make easyer games like portal or l4d that require alot less effort?
note-if you disagree i respect that im just saying what i think
