I'm ex-RAF so never saw true front line fighting of the sort that the Infantry, Paras and Royal Marines not to mention other Nato forces and The US are currently engaged in in various areas of the globe. They are well trained, disciplined and motivated. War as we all know isn't a game and it is refreshing to see that most of the people who have posted have not been stupidly gung-ho in attitude. Warfare is nerve-wracking, frightening and you do the best you can with what you have available. Kudos to the guys and girls out there right now. Personally, I'd be bloody useless. I can shoot but my main job was fixing aircraft so other people could go do the fighting.
