The thing I don't like is that it's taught in schools that just about every problem francophone Canadians face is the result of anglophones "crushing your culture". I'm not proud of my ancestors, that's for sure, because they really did do shit like this. They were trying to force everybody to speak English... which is a pretty shitty language that has all these stupid, silly rules.matqc23 said:

Oh yeah, and if I speak English in Quebec, I could get jumped or beaten. They HATE us. Maybe not you or other young people, but the older people who still feel that old sting.
Canada is where they shot all of SG-1 and SGA, so that counts for something. for me its just a low profile country, where nothing major ever happens for best or worst. a good place to live/travel in, tho.
