How long have you been a gamer?

I believe i started considering myself as gamer when i got my PS2 and first Crash Bandicoot game (i believe it was Wrath of Cortex) after that xmas (i think it was same year when they published ps2) i got this thirst for games and pretty much started considering my self as a Gamer

About 13 or 14 years - I started with the NES when I was only 6 years old (I think); however, I've really only become "serious" with this current generation, since I'm able to buy my own games now and can play pretty much whatever I want. Before I was limited to what I'd receive on special occasions.

My dad started me playing doom 2 on some acient laptop when I was 6 I tihnk. I moved onto Warcraft3 and then GTA3 and since then I have done pretty much nothing but be a gamer. I'm 17 now and a uber game geek yet somehow I have a girlfriend. >.>

I've been playing years since I was about 3 (so roughly 17 years. Started out on the Commodore 64 and Atari 2600 that some neighbours gave us), but started considering myself a gamer when I was about 11, so roughly 9 years now.
