Pushups? around 50 non stop but then my arms hurt for a few days

Leg press? no idea the one in the school only went up to 420

I'm a smoker so I know I'm useless at the whole running thing

Hardly any, but then being overweight means I'm combining push ups with some serious weightlifting :)

You fit guys strap our difference in weight to your back, then we'll compete :D

(and you'll still win, but hey :D )

Argh pushups.... my PE teacher put me in hospital because of them. I can't do pushups because of some disease I have in my elbows >=(

I'm not too good with estimated measurements but lets say I can run my street back at a mild speed easily. And my street is one loooooooonnnggg son of a *****. And steep too.

Push-ups give you a tight chest and shoulders (just like slumping in front of a monitor all day) so bugger that.

I can bench 415 and leg press 1800-1900. I haven't timed a run in about 10 years, mainly because I hate running. I'd rather slam my head in a car door repeatedly if it had the same effect on my fitness.

30, If I try. I've dropped out of the habit, otherwise I'd probably be able to do more right now...damn, I need more exercise.

I think my record for push ups was a bit over 150, but with in-position 2 min rests after each 50. I think.

I've never been that good at running so maybe 3 miles or so? But easily I'd say 1.5

My max leg press was 450 pounds. I have thunder thighs.

Squats... don't even get me started about squats. Done so many that about a month ago I just stopped doing them all together.

I've never run a timed forty. Like my specific time, just had to run it in under a specific time.
I think I did like 100 pushups like that once, and at some point I did a thousand sit-ups in a row and got bored.
I started on squats but got bored with those pretty soon as well.
I am quite a fast sprinter, but as far as endurance goes, I sorta suck.
I have been able to do 25 chin-ups (Is that a pullup?) at one time before.

...I used to run a 4.8 forty-yard dash
...I used to have 6% body-fat while weighing 235 lbs.
...I used to be a top prospect in American Football

But now, 23 year laters, I couldn't even do a single push-up at the moment-- yeah, yeah, that's more because my left upper arm is broken from snowboarding than and real physical decrepitude, but still...

The point is, ladies and gents: enjoy your youth. Speaking as one of the senior Escapist community members, I can tell you from experience: physical effort gets more difficult as you age, and it doesn't matter what kind of athlete you are.

Parkour, snow-sports, track & field... our bodies move in a different direction as we get older. It's a genetic imperetive.

So enjoy your youth-- in fact, fucking exult in it... because it won't be there forever.

Let's see what kind of shape The Escapist is in... how many pushups can you do in a row?
Or, if you can't do pushups, how many miles can you run easily?
How much do you leg press? How about squats? How fast is your 40-yard dash?

Or, if you a lead a... sedentary lifestyle, explain the perks of that.
Pushups about 15 on a good day
Miles about 3 roughly 10 mins a mile (never heard of a 40 yard dash)
Military press 9 reps 30Kg (Bar doesn't go higher)
