I'm a huge fanboy of games made by Valve (because design is good) and Ratchet & Clank (because OMG a minigun that shoots rockets!).

i'll have to say very much a fanboy:

of infinity ward (and their CoDs)

of valve(esp Portal and Half-life series)

of kojima(metal gear series)

of FFVII

of anime

of GTA.

alternatively, i am the anti-fan boy of:

nintendo(and mario and all their other stuff-and esp the WII)

sonic

EA and most of their games in general(with the exception of DICE)

FOX news

Jack thompson

Kotick and generally activision as a publisher
which puts me in an akward position -refer to 1st pnt).

halo series

MMORPGs

peter molynuex

motion sensors like NATAL

and for the record: my definition of anti-fan boy refers to me absolutely despising the said subject. some not really for any reason, other than just personal judgement-less objective and more subjective.

Bastard!

I have fond memories myself, of conquering Europe with Scotland in CK, then exporting the game to EUII, conquering most of the world as Scotland again, then exporting it to Victoria, colonizing most of the world as Scotland, and then exporting that to HOI II, and overcoming the tyranny of the Scottish empire as plucky little Slovenia!

It took me about a month.
Loads of fun = Holy See in EUII.

Mine are probably Team Ico and God of War.
I forgot about those. Especially Team Ico got a legendary status - with only two games!

I can't say I'm a fanboy as far as my view on fanboyism goes. I am a huge fan of Bioware's games as well as Blizzard's games, but I'm not the flaming kind, and I won't get into a heated argument just because some stupid kid is trying to claim something stupid about a game I happen to like. I think that fanboyism is like internet dictatorship, you can't think outside of the other person's box, or else you're an idiot.

And also, since I hate fanboys who always claim that a) is better than b), I try to avoid going in that direction myself. It's better to have a realistic view on things, instead of getting hyped over something that might disappoint you, leaving you forced to defend a shitty game instead of swallowing your pride.

Ah yes, Ion Storm. Despite the fact they made Daikatana (Grrr...) they also made Deus Ex and Anachronox.

So they're forgiven.
I even bought Daikatana. For dirt cheap. At the same time I bought the Paradox box set. It was by far the best game of "Shoot what's green" since Space Invaders.

The chin was terrible in Maniac Cop. And I hated My Name Is Bruce! What are you gonna do about it?
*Zeroes rifle scope*

Oh, nothing.

[sub]Just stand still...[/sub]
Actually sit still would be more appropriate.

I am a fan of the chin by the way. You can tell because I refer to him as "the chin". Only fans do that. I actually enjoy only about 60% of his films and I haven't seen a Xena or Hercules episode since they were on TV though. I guess this means I'm not a total fanboy.
