Fanboys rarely recognize themselves as such.

hence the term ,"fanboys"

You know, theyr'e too blind to see what's wrong with soemthing they love.

But I guess I'm a fanboy of some things. Like PC gaming. early 90's cartoons.

StarCraft and WarCraft series, Mass Effect...

Though worst of all is probably my devotion to Star Wars. The more I look at it, the more it frightens me...

I'm a huge supporter of PC gamers, but I still want to try the console market, looks entertaining.

But really fanboy? I save my fandom for VALVe, I will buy any game they release, in fact, come Friday there won't be a single Valve Game I don't own. Also anyone who doesn't know who Gordon Freeman is just gets stared at, even my computer incompetent mother knows who Gordon Freeman is!

Though on the other hand, I will happily enter a debate about VALVe games, as long as it's open minded listing both good and bad, and not with some idiot who just wants to knock everything they do for the hell of it. *Didn't like Ricochet*

I will, inevitably, end up getting a PS3 or an Xbox one day just so I can play the new Final Fantasy. It's apalling in a lot of ways, but that's how it is. I am Squeenix's chew toy.
Even with the decline in quality of their games, I can't stop myself from being square enix's *****. I even went as far as playing FFXI for a few mos.
Ha, yes, me too - I didn't buy it but I played out the demo. I know for a fact I don't like online multiplayer that much, but I did it anyway...

I'm a massive fanboy for:
- Anything by Valve
- Anything by BioWare
- Sci fi in general, notable examples being: Star Wars, Stargate: SG1, especially Battlestar Galactica (my favourite show ever, the latest one that is), Cowboy Bebop, Dune, Farscape, The Matrix and Doctor Who.
- The Batman universe
- Lord of the Rings (I still hate the fact that I haven't read the books yet)
- Tim Burton + Danny Elfman
- Miles Davis
- Muse
- Assassin's Creed 2 (hate the fact that I couldn't finish it because my 360 died)
- Metroid Prime
- BioShock
- World of Warcraft (even though I stopped playing over a year ago)
- My PS3

And I love and like quite a lot of things as well, probably missing a couple of things from that list as well. Mind you, the fact that I'm a fanboy for these things doesn't mean that I'm an unreasonable troll about them. But I do love them an ungodly amount.

I love MGS, thats about it game wise.

As for movies and what not there are a few, such as prison break, house, fight club, family guy (a lil) and UFC.

Greetings!

I have to admit that I can be quite a fanboy. I'm mostly keeping the hype to myself (i.e. I'm not running around telling everyone they should get certain games), but I would buy a new Phoenix Wright, Ratchet & Clank, Thief or Sly Cooper game no matter how it's recieved by the rest of the gaming community.

So... how's your game preference? Any franchise you absolutely love?
I'm a fanboy of halo, and the elder scrolls. That is all, I'm going to buy halo reach and the next elder scrolls no matter how they are received. Hopefully E3 will bring me good news and much hype about the latter.

However, Halo Wars and the Halo Legends anime are both terrible. When I say terrible, I mean it!

I'm a Nintendo fanboy and proud of it. I don't care what people say, they're still a great company. Oh yeah, of course they sold out to the casual audience! That must be why they've released FOUR games in the main Mario series in the last four years!

The worst fanboyism I've ever done is with Assassin's Creed. I spent hours on the community fansite, making wallpapers, completing any challenge that got uploaded, and generally being Ubisoft's *****.

Finally someone else who recognises his greatness. I'm putting on So What just to celebrate.
I had the joy of being introduced to him through a buddy in college.

What's even more amazing, though, is that a local redneck biker-type dude around here is a HUGE fan of Miles. There is hope for humanity yet.

I'm a Valve fanboy. I own Half life and its expansions, Counter Strike, Team Fortess classic, Counter Strike Source Orange box and Left 4 Dead. Left 4 dead made me sad, so I'm not getting L4D2

Quickly becoming a Valve fangirl, despite only having The Orange Box and Left 4 Dead... I'm hoping to get a PC that can run games sometime next year, once I can actually have a job.

But yeah, I'm the kind of fan who does put some thought into what might be going in in a vague-as-hell storyline (mainly in the Portal/Half Life world, but I've had a few conversations involving Left 4 Dead), and actually tries coming up with theories that make sense.

Mass Effect
Jak, Sly, or Ratchet
Saints Row
Mario
Soul Calibur
Star Wars games
LEGO games

If any new games for these franchises came out I'd be scooping them up within days.

If you say anything bad about Dead Rising, or TF2, i will cut you.

Other then that, i'm not much of a fanboy.
