I love me some Half-Life, I really do. If I had to pick my 'top 5 games of all time' at least three of them would be Valve games.

Having said that, I know they aren't for everyone and I do my best not to fanboy lash-out and people who diss them.

Same here, I really like those games but I don't freak out when somone doesn't enjoy them.I might ask why you didn't enjoy it, but thats about as fanboy as I get.

non-handheld console Zelda fanboy (never got into the 2D ones and haven't played any DS ones yet and aren't in any rush to). Yeah, yeah, I know...but hey if I genuinly like it I don't care what the stereotype is. My opinion is my own but I always recommend Ocarina to my mates who live off nothing but mainstream shooters and it never fails to impress

guilty zelda fanboy, i have a triforce tattoo on my right arm - as well as other non gaming ones - but i may extend it into like a gaming collage with other games i have found amazing, however it isnt just a game tattoo it also was my favourite game from being a kid and it means to me you shouldnt lose part of your childhood or grow up too fast.

also a fanboy of ratchet and clank, uncharted series, and mirrors edge - i was one of the few who actually liked this game

Was a bit of a Sega fanboy back in the day. Every kid liked either Sega or Nintendo and I had a Mega Drive, so yeah. Thankfully I got over it as puberty hit.

Nowadays, I'd say Team ICO and Clover/Platinum Games. But I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy, I think I'm fairly open to discussion, if I do say so myself.

I guess the closest i come is the Metal Gear Series. I really like it, and while bits of it are irritating, i think that its about the closest i have come to fanboyism over a game.
But, at heart, I am an Avatar fanboy. I have ever fallen for anything nearly as hard as i fell for that movie.

Im a Final Fantasy fanboy. It really really annoys me when other fanboys have a go at RPG's but can't take people arguing about COD:MW2 or something.
Final Fantasy IX is the only one i'd defend to the death though.
