I'm a sucker for anything that Peter Molyneux has a hand in. I actually enjoyed Fable 2's story, contrary to everyone else it seems.

Bethsoft and VALVe fanboy here. I'm not rabid, but they're pretty consistent in making good products, thus I mostly buy them, prefferably as Collector's Edition. Also, I'm sort of a fanboy of Eddie Izzard. That guy defines humor in my book.

Im a Final Fantasy fanboy. It really really annoys me when other fanboys have a go at RPG's but can't take people arguing about COD:MW2 or something.
Final Fantasy IX is the only one i'd defend to the death though.

Am I a fanboy? Let me count the ways:

I've inflicted physical pain on people for dissing Half-life 2-- or, come to think of it, any Valve property, really...
I once condemned a person to the lowest circle because he refused to watch or read Lord of the Rings...
I put a fellow in an armlock for speaking ill of Knights of the old Republic...
And I beat that same fellow with a plastic lightsaber after he told me that Sins of a Solar Empire was a piece of shit.

I'm also a rabid Anti-fanboy in numerous cases, none of which I care to recall at the moment.

I will, inevitably, end up getting a PS3 or an Xbox one day just so I can play the new Final Fantasy. It's apalling in a lot of ways, but that's how it is. I am Squeenix's chew toy.

I recomend the PS3 since Final Fantasy Versus XIII is PS3 exclusve. also it's on one disk.

i was a nintendo fanboy, the wii was my first next gen console and the gamecube before that, but they havnt released a worthwhile game on it in over a year so i gave up on it and got a 360 and a ps3, i dont fanboy either of they coz they both have massive faults. 360 has good online but u have to pay for it and its packed with douches, it also breaks constantly and i just plain hate microsoft, they are pansys.the ps3 has dodgey online not many good exclusives, and since thats all i buy on it its kinda a let down. if i was to choose a console it would be the 360 since everyone else has one and it has the most games, plus its cheaper, sort of. ok its preobably not in the long run but hey.

I'm an Aliens fanboy. I have every game ever made (except that god-awful ressurection one) have all the movies, am still working on the comic collection, bought some of the old army-men style ones, and even bought a model of one made out of scrap metal.

Of course, I still can't outdo my friends with their starwars fetishes... let's just not go there =P

A fan, or a fanboy?

I'm not a fanboy, but I'm a fan of many games and series. I do feel the need to defend a genre when it gets blindly bashed by a raving lunatic who has no solid basis to his arguement other than "turn based combat sucks" or "I hate third person games". Then my inner demon arises and begins preparing the pencil trick.
