How much violence/gore can you handle from a video game, TV show, anime and etc?

Unless it is an actual person having their real intestines pulled out, I can take just about anything. It gets to the point where it's so over the top that it's funny such as in Dead Alive. Even if it's realistic gore I can handle it.

I lasted 2 mins into that video where that guy was lowering himself onto that jar and it broke...basically I can handle almost anything.

Apart from real blood from actual people.

I don't really like needles, but watching anything else I can usually take. I'll wince, but I won't feel ill.

Silly internet has made me desensitized. I can watch pretty much anything and just laugh.
1 Guy 1 cup, BMEzine pain olympics etc

However! That's just on the internet, in video and picture form. Yet to see how I'd actually react to a car crash or anything like that... not that I really want to test that theory.

I can handle pretty much any level of gore, or pretty much anything that would gross out most people. I've just always had a strong stomach.

Ehh... it really depends. I'm not sure I can draw an exact line where gore turns from 'funny' to 'I must use a drill to erase that from my mind'.
Turning legions of goons into blood-stained confetti in 'Wet' is really cool, and carving up locust with my Lancer in Gears of War is just plain hilarious.
But some things just don't sit right with me. This usually happens when I see reanimated bodies (just creeps me out to no end, I can't watch zombie movies) or an alien organism invading and controlling a living or dead body (to me this is the ultimate act of violation on any level). So, seeing the Flood, the HL headcrabs or the monsters from Dead Space do their thing requires the utmost control on my part to not turn off the console and hide under the covers.

I can take alot of violence, but if the victim begins crying and searching for lost limbs and crap Saving Private Ryan style, then I typically look away.

Not much, I can't stand surgery scenes in most shows. If they're already dead, that's another story entirely.

Because of the internet and my older brother, and can handle a pretty big amount of gore, I can't watch anything happening to the wrists or genitals...

If it looks very realistic, I don't like it much. But the only thing that will make me not watch the screen are things happening to teeth, eyes or nails. And more or less everything in violenceporn movies like Saw. I like my violence to be over the top, not realistic. In movies anyway. In games everything goes.
Seconded.

I can take alot of gore. The thing with gore that I don't like, isn't seeing intestens (spell errror?) and blood, but more of the way of how you deliver the gore.

I remember seeing some youtube clip of someone slowly peircing through their skin of their stomach with it's fingers, and then ripping it's closed fist out with blood and intestens coming out.

That is something I do not enjoy watching. I'd rather have the same effect, but rather just someone chopping the upper half clean off, then having the gore come.

In Games, anything. in movies, anything up to those classic zombie scenes where the unlucky bastard character gets torn apart. if its guys getting shot to peices like in Rambo 4, thats fine.
