Wouldn't effect my life. Might give Christians even more to whine about though. That would cause me grief, but not such that I'd oppose the motion. I'd oppose the moaning people.
*Sigh*

I assure you, most of us aren't like that...

One pretty big impact it would have however, is that it would open up a lot more potential couples to adopt orphaned kids, and give them good, stable homes...

So yeah, we should probably get on that...
Sorry, there I go, blanket-terming again. It's just that it's usually such a long periods of time between hearing one who has intelligent opinions on this issue such as yourself. I'm in close proximity to a lot of moronic people who fight under the banner of their lord, and as soon as I manage to shut out their tremulous voices, I hear more on the radio.

No worries. And I'm sorry that you have to deal with such an annoying sub-group of our faith. They annoy me, too.

It wouldn't

Signed a Conservative Christian in Texas
Signed again by a Liberal Atheist in Texas.

If nothing else, we can agree on this.

tbh.. (and correct me if im wrong) the only reason they cant marry is the church.
Well, here's a correction for ya: The State prevents them from marrying too. Marriage has a whole bunch of additional rights that come with it, and gay marriages are not recognised as such by the State. The influence of the Church on the State is there, yes, but the Church is not solely responsible.
ha..cheers for setting me straight on that one.. learn something new everyday

Gay marriage would have absolutely no effect on my life. Well, maybe it would force the hardline conservatives to find something else to ***** about, so there's that.

I would probaly see some of them getting married because a place called Palace of Love is on my way to work and that place hosts wedding parties.

Indeed one does. Hope I wasn't being too much of a douche about the correction, though.

As a person who lives in the only state at the moment to allow it, it doesn't affect anyone really. Legalizing it would certainly not change the world for the worse or the better and no one is gonna be affected by it in a major negative way.

i live in the Netherlands. Gay marriage is allowed. I don't notice it. Only rarely I see a same-sex couple. Days go by that I forget it's different in the rest of the world.

Honestly, I think gay people make better parrents than some "regular" couples do...

The skies will open and blood will rain down upon us, great balls of fire will crash into the earth, demolishing the towers and the castles. The animals will eat each other and pestilence will reign over man. God will take back all He has given us. A thousand years of ice will engulf the world and all shall be lost.

If gay marriages were legal, all the above will be blamed on them.

It wouldn't since I am not gay. I don't care if homosexuals get married as long as I don't have to see public affection at least like kissing and stuff. Though lesbians can... I mean no no thats bad too! XD Dang hormones..!

As long as they don't try to impose their sexuality on me... I could honestly say I don't care in the very slightest whether gays get married or not. This is America. If they like licking lollipops thats their choice. Just don't go asking for mine and we're cool.
