Mine's quite good at the moment. i've got a good set of friends and we all live near a train line that goes straight into london. so we go there most weekends.
Hahaha that happened to me numerous times. Its the epitome of awkwardnesssean.A7x said:Good
About a year ago i had a shit social life and was just friends with the "nerdy" unpopular people but about this time last year i started to be friends with more of the popular people and by last summer i nearly had a completely new set of friends i still talk to my old friends occasionally but i can't really be friends with both groups of people because my old friends are so irritatingly shy that when im with them and one of my other friends comes over they go completely silent and it just embarrassing
Falling, falling every day... although things seem to be looking up in this department... but we shall just have to see.Julianking93 said:Most people know the typical stereotype of gamers and people who just sit on the internet; antisocial, no friends, and tend to be the outcast
So I was curious to know how true this actually is within the population of the Escapist.
As for me, well I have a pretty pathetic excuse for a social life. The closest thing I have to friends are the people here. I was always the outcast at school and just tended to avoid people. Despite going out to a movie (I go at least twice a week) and usually dinner every weekend, I'm always by myself. I don't go with anyone. Ever. How sad is that?
So, what's your social life like and what has it been like through the years?
