My social life is low to non-existent. The only time I communicate with people in person is at work or home. Rest of the time it is through e-mail or x-box live.
Mine is even worse. Then again I prefer to be alone.

Pretty damn good, I always had quite a few good friends in high school, this number rapidly increased in university as medicine is quite a tightly knit course, we see the same people every day, unlike other courses where you might only share one class with someone.

In highschool I went to a lot of parties, and I did often at university. I used to share a house with some school mates and we had quite a few parties, bbqs and movie nights.

I'm soon moving into on campus accommodation for my 3rd year placement with about 20 other students and while I'm not super-acquainted with them, I know most of them and am excited about getting to know them. Hopefully while drowning beers in my room playing x-box 360.

Man, I sound anoyingly cheerful in this post. It's weird I come off as very distant and standoff-ish when I first meet people, but I'm kind of an actions rather than words guy. Before you know it, I'm giving you a lift back to your home town on the week, because it's kind of on the way to mine, I'm giving free beer away and telling awesome drinking/hunting stories that always make fun of myself.

My social life is okay. It's definitely changed in the last few years though. I used to go outside and hang with friends literally everyday, but it's no way near as much as that now.

I'm an introvert by nature though, so I enjoy my alone time. But I get contact with friends in one form or another at least a few times during the week.
This is a perfect description of where I was 2 years ago. Now I socialize at work several times a week but very rarely meet my friends in real life or, recently, even talk to them. I wish I could say I'd meet/talk to them more if I had the work hours free, but I'm no longer sure of that.

I as well. I live in the basement of my parents house and I am alone for most of the time. I do want to get an apartment though so I can live alone.

What's a social life?

OT: Pretty much just my family, a few friends that I rarely see, and people on the internet.

I've got my girlfriend and out two kids.
+ some family I spend time with.

Since I got kids, there's hardly been any time to hang with my old mates.
It's kind of sad to see all those friendships go, but what you gonna do?

Going out with friends is not rare for me, Nor is that common,

I have alot of friends (No need for facebook Woo !) so finding people to go and chill out with is easy,

Plus me being a misanthrope ironically got me alot of friends and made me great with people.

So in Short, I go both ways.

Surprisingly, despite our environment, quite good. The reason I call out our environment is because my wife & I are both foreign (I'm from the UK with Scottish in me, my wife is Japanese) and we live in Utah, home of the zealous racist sexist bigot. I refuse to call them "Mormons" because I've met Mormons who are good people, and as a proponent of religion I don't like blacklisting religions based on the extremists. Also, a year or two ago studies showed that we had the largest count of rape in the US, and that was enough to push the US above Africa in the highest count of rape in the entire world. Wheeeeeeee. Yet while we don't fit in with the zealous racist sexist bigot crowd, there's a surprisingly large amount of Japanese people here and we're in their good graces for helping them out with their Annual Nihonmatsuri, and Chie & I also have a group of friends that get together every so often to play board/video games as well as star in absurd indie films. We don't go out a lot, I'm handicapped and all that irrelevant bull-crap, but we have quite a few friends and we're happy with our social lives.

I have a decent number of good friends that I've kept from school, whom I see regularly. One of them has an empty house every weekend, so we usually all swing by his. I also have my uni class, who are fantastic people. It's a games development course, so most of us are nerds too! Very social ones who are up for a laugh though!

I also make sure to go on nights out now and then. I'd actually like to more often, but my friends never have any money.

Yes, I have a social life. I don't really go out much (the light...IT BURNS!!!) but I do have a large circle of friends at my school. So, I'd say it's not the best social life "evaaar" but it is real.

Social life? HAHAHAHA. Well, I live in a dorm, but outside school there's about 1 person I meet in real life every couple of weeks. I can spend weeks without talking to anyone. So it's pretty hard to improve a social life if you've got nothing to start off with.

Luckily gaming is not seen as an outcast hobby in sweden. I have many friends both in the gaming circle and outside of it. But I think it's because I play soccer which has kinda made me a jock. And my social life right now has hugely improved since 2 years back, and it's again because of my half jock, half gamer personality.

Overal I think that I have a great social life. Go out with friends 3-4 times a week and stuff.

Social...Life? Is that German, or what? I'm not sure just what it means.

Srsly, though:I've got two friends, both of whom are shut-ins who I barely get to see. So yeah, it sucks.
