I've got two, but they're not video games:

One of 'em's a song I heard a long time ago and really liked. I only know part of the lyrics, it goes something like "all signs around say move ahead, can someone please explain to me your effervescent (I think that's what they said) knack of speed". Can't find it anywhere. Help?

The other is actually narrowed down a little, from an old cartoon show called Ren and Stimpy. There's an episode where they fall down a (sewer?) hole and Ren freaks out. Then something above them moves and Ren says "Stimpy, listen! Someone out there likes us!". Then the hole closes and it's pitch black, with only their faces showing and really creepy sound effects/music in the background. This goes on for 8-9 minutes, presumably the whole episode. What episode is that?

If anyone can help me out with these two...I'd be eternally grateful. Help meh!

The song is A certain shade of green by Incubus.

On that note i too have a song i can't for the life of me remember. It about a girl (a blonde?) with a gun, and theres a part about her walking around at night i think. Its not janie's got a gun. I'm sure it was by The Police but i can't find any song matching it by them. If its not them its someone like them.

This isn't a game but I have been wondering what it is, I don't know all that much about it other than a few vague details. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's a cartoon.
The protagonist was on some sort of an adventure (maybe).
The protagonist rode around inside of a (possibly talking) whale.
The whale had portholes on its side and hammocks inside it.
I watched it at least 10 years ago.

Old game I played at a friends house for PS1 i think. Multiplayer was fun

playing capture the flag with a small force of vehicles that you could control individually. Vehicles were tanks, walkers and small trucks. there was one small fast vehicle that could cloak and the flag looked like a flame if I remember right.

I will thank anyone who can decipher this game I've played in the past but I completely forgot the name. Here is what I can remember-

It's a SNES game and pretty much made in Japan.

It's a top down spaceship shooter type of game.

There are two characters in the spaceship, one is the male pilot and the other is some kind of a skimpy like girl with green or blue hair. I think she is like the energy source or wield some form of energy (she looks like a sorceress). Both characters by the way are anime looking.

One of the weapons is like you summon green jellybean like followers who move with you and also shoot stuff aswell. I think you can give them a set position and also they get smaller if they get hit alot.

The first level was above some kind of a forest or jungle and I think the boss was a machine of some kind with robotic like arms or structure on the side of the screen.

Later on the level you're in outer space and the boss is a huge base fill with guns. The base reveals itself to be a giant face when the ship pulls back to the distance.

The game over screen is the two character mention before but in chibi style (super deform) setting up a fire with their wreak ship destroy in the background.

Then as you shoot them, they kind of create a pile and you have to make the pile so high to get a highscore.

mine is an RTS where you have to control a mage and summon creatures and to gain mana you have to park a creature on a kind of fountain(looked like a stone disk if i remember). And if during the campaign your mage gets older over time if i remember correctly.

now i will read through all the posts and try to help if i can.

Why sir, thank you soo, i do remember this game fondly, I don't really remember why. But thanks anyway, they should of made more of this game, the concept is pretty good compared to some of the other stuff they churn out these days.

There is this...old game for the PC. I strongly believe it had 'evil' in the title. The protagonist had white hair, and you couldn't customize his appearance. It was an RPG with a 'top-down' look.
As far as I can remember, there was no numbers in the title. Oh and the character woke up at a...temple/altar/Abandoned Stonehenge - kind of place, and he had amnesia.

For the Norwegians one out there. It was a demo on one of those 'special K' CD's.

It's a game that is most likely heavily clouded by nostalgia. (come on, I was like...7 years old, that means it was...11 years ago.)

this may be a long shot because the game is older and the character didn't quite have amnesia but could it be blood omen: Legacy of Kain? White hair and top-down look fits and it was available on the PC.

hm, nope. The main character wasn't a vampire (as far as i can remember, there were none "vamps" at all) i think i'll edit my main post when i remember something new.

I think you mean white "whales". There is something I would like to find (a childhood toy),but its impossible I have looked and looked. Good thread idea though.

This title has always refferred to "whales", frankly the notion that I wrote wales strikes me as quite silly, only a damn fool would make that mistake.

Describe the toy!!! I had far too many toys as a kid, maybe i'll recognise it.

This game where you played as a tank vs another tank.
It was turn based and could have 2 players.
You pick your tank and pick your weapons.
Then you fire at one another with special ammo, but it's also fun to blow up the ground and dig a tunnel. to the other tank.

I remember playing it in second grade, I forget its name though.

PS1 game that was a dungeon crawler where you just have to keep going to deeper levels. There was a town where you could buy stuff out of the dungeon. I remember the equipment had a durability system and could break. Glass weapons were strong but broke easily. And your character showed the gear that was equipped(which I remember being really cool considering no other game I'd played had that feature).
