Hide somewhere with a small path to it, make it clear you are there though. On the end of the path place the claymores and make it so they trigger the grenades (both frag and smoke) which you've placed along the path so lots will die and the rest will be pretty shook up with all the smoke. Then just run and gun them down.

The size of there unit will make them slow to react to changing conditions and even slower to move in limiting terrain. Try to meander through heavy foliage and trees while leaving a claymore every few hundred meters on the easiest path (the one they are most likely to take if they hope to make use of the vehicles). Continue forward while hiding your smoke grenades under mags of ammunition or armor ect. (things a third world army will likely need and as such will try to pick up when left behind.) (smoke grenades can still take an arm off if your dumb enough to be within about 6 inches when they go off.) Use the frags and what little ammo you have only as a final act of desperation. With a bit of luck and some agile footing you should make it out mostly intact.

You really haven't given enough details here, like how many men are in my squad and what are their levels of experience, how far exactly is it to the LZ, what equipment does the enemy have, how good a head start we have on them etc etc (SALUTE report next time soldier). But assuming this is forested or jungle terrain then easy. Also assuming these are just footsoldiers and not an equally well trained unit and that there are no dogs. Set up the four claymores along the main road the vehicles are using for pursuit, I'd space them so they interesct fire in pairs probably about 50-100 meters apart depending on what kinda time we're looking at. Next divide the squad into 2-3 teams depending on our numbers and equipment and take off in line formations probably at about 100M spreads so we can rally easier. When the front vehicle moves into the second kill zone is when you're gonna set off all four and pop a decent amount of smoke. Hopefully the terrain is bad enough that they can't get their light wheels back into formation fast enough but if they have alot then staying off the road was your best bet anyway. Move quickly, but not recklessly and set up a grenade to trip every 100M or so, saving at least one for any possible engagements. This will slow down any on foot pursuit cause they will naturally not keep running headlong into explosives if they are; one, indeed on your trail, and two, afraid to die. Considering we are indeed a special ops unit and this is an "official" operation we should be in constant contact with the bird who can give us some fire support if necessary and should be able to locate a closer LZ if we're really in the shit.

Go back to 4Chan where you belong
I can't. I've been ambushed by a battalion of hypothetical soldiers.

I set up 2 claymores so they cover 190 degree path, set up the trip wire, and when they trip the wire anyone within 85m is dead or wants to be dead

chuck a smoke off th the side to distract so the enemy forms up around it and put out one more mine and one off to the side so it does not give away your intended path, manually blow that one
and every time they get close lob a nade so you don't give away your position and keep sporadically heaving smoke nades off to the sides or in front of a mine to obscure the tripwire

Place the claymores where the most will try to come through and then throw a smoke grenade (it will help conceal the claymore).l when all the claymores throw another smoke and 2 grenades. repeat until you run out of smokes or nades. When you run out of either hope you have enough ammo

Get a five kill streak and call in an airstrike.

Find some way to make the smoke grenades go off when the claymores are triggered, and set up them up along the road. Keeping one smoke grenade,we'd set off into the woods towards the extraction zone, keeping the frags for later use. When the troops trigger the claymore trap, I'd throw the last smoke off to the side to fool the enemy into thinking that it's our position. Then I'd make a mad dash towards the extraction point.

I'd take all the weapons, shoot my friends in the leg so they can't run as fast as me. Then I'd flee, fast like a cat hoping the enemy waste enough time taking them prisoner so i can escape.

This is unrelated but am I supposed to be mad that you stole my avatar?

use claymore wires to set off claymores and all grenades in one area, buying you enough time to escape due to the confusion of the smoke and the explosion!
