Its a video on the chinese fur farms and the horrible things happening there. They have been skinning the animals alive, which they say is "for a better cut". My father was a minkfarmer and processed and soled fur coats.

This is not representative of the fur industry as a whole. It just shows how inhumanly systematic China is regarding...........well, pretty much everything. You have to treat these animals right 'cause if you don't, it will show in the quality of the fur and decrease it's value. Minks that are bred for their fur probably have the best life of all bio-industry animals.

I wouldn't cite The Daily Mail as a reputable source. If you lived in the UK you would know they are about the must underhanded and grimy Tabloid Newspaper in the country. I know how easy it is to accidentally overdose on sleeping pills, I've studied Biochemistry for 2 years at university so excuse me if I go with the official account that the doctors go by.

I don't know and don't care what the dog's "intentions" were as it ripped most of the flesh off that poor woman's face, it is irrelevant. If the animal was too stupid to realise it was horribly deforming its master then that is far worse and somehow twisting the narrative into the dog "saving her life" is utterly ridiculous. Severe facial deformation is no effective counter to the biological mechanism of sleeping pill overdose.

waking up =/= dragging to safety.

Dog did a good job in that account, it was loyal as a dog should be and called for his master when something was amiss, in this case a fire. But it's just no cigar.

The reason I posted this instead of something on starving kids or sex slaves is this is something that could easily be stopped, with pressure from the UN on China. Dying kids is an issue due to poverty and that is much harder to fix, not to mention that everyone is aware of starvation in Africa, whereas not many people are aware of this issue as far as I'm aware.

You're about 15 and are not yet well learned in the ways of the world, but the UN have far more pressing matters to handle than a few blokes hurting animals. We do still have a credit crunch on our hands, and shutting down a major Chinese business hurts China's economy and thus the economy of each country China trades with.
