Let it be said that the video probably shows the worst bits it can and that it is not representative of fur farming as a whole (as a general rule about propaganda videos.) But still, it is fairly dramatic (unless it was staged, but I've seen no evidence of that.) The lack of overly dramatic title screens or audio added to the impact.

Despite popular views, an idea being supported by an idiot doesn't weaken it. PETA can still have good ideas regardless of its worst ones. Animal cruelty is basically unnecessary enough that most people would prefer it banned, so being supported by PETA in that regard isn't bad.

That's not a very constructive argument.

We have a more advanced concsiousness and self awareness than the other species on this planet.

Though some members of the ape and mammal families have been tested and shown some signs of self awareness, (such as elephants, dolphins and chimps passing ,mirror tests), there is no way in hell that a cat knows it's being an evil little bastard as it toys with that dying mouse. It is acting on instinct.

Human brains have evolved to the point where we have the mental capacity to think beyond base instinct and rise above it when it is needlessly harmful to other people or creatures.

It's just a pity we often choose to ignore this fact.

I refuse to watch the video. I would love to be vegitarian but last time i tried i could not eat vegtables. I can cry to think that animals are bred to eat but can not stop eating meat unless i want to starve.
I hate animal killing just for fur. I think its sick that people want to wear animal fur even if the animal did not suffer. How can anyone wear real fur? Whats wrong with the fake stuff? Its warm, soft and only slighty more coarse then real fur.

As for killing dolphins and whales... Does anyone who does that realise that we were possible decendants of them? Killing our ancestors is what they are doing (spell check is broken so i appologise for any spelling errors).
I watched a video called (i think) babies in the womb. It was about human and animal fetuses and the similarity between them. Dolphin babies are similar to ours when developing.

Makes me sick to think we could kill any innocent creatures who have no say in their lives!!
