ESRB is really starting to piss me off. i see plenty of games that are fine for me that i cant play cuz of like a bikini or alcohol happining to be in like, one freakin part of the game!!! a great example is halo, cuz its the most contrivercial. because cortana is naked for like, 5 seconds at a time on the screen and theirs cursing(is that not something everyone deals with like, EVERY DAY???) its rated M!! it barely even has any violence, much lower than manhunt or even LFD for that matter!!! and wtf is up with banning games? thats so stupid!! are we NOT protected under the (second?) ammendment to print/ read (make and play) freely?
thats my rant- lets hear yours!!!
p.s. cortanas 'private areas' are barely even visible so wtf??
sorry about the grammer i was not aware of the 'rules' about it.
pps. its just my opinion... jeeze...
Read the ESRB warning on the back of Halo. Rated M for violence and language. Not nudity. And it barely has any violence? It's eight plus hours of MURDER! By gunfire, grenade explosions, and CAVING IN THE HEADS OF ENEMIES. Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to the game. But it is incredibly violent. Also, to my knowledge, the US government has never actually banned any video game. I could be wrong, but I would figure there'd be serious 1st amendment issues if they did. What you consider "banning" is actually the retailers, i.e. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, GameSuck, etc, refusing to carry the game because of the rating.
Also, for the record, I don't know how old you are. Frankly, it doesn't matter. But before you start referencing the Constitution of the United States, please READ THE FUCKING THING. The FIRST Amendment is what protects your right to free speech (which, if you're under the age of 18, even that is curtailed). The Second Amendment is the one that gives citizens the right to bear arms.
I'm done now.
