Well mines Veldt Falsetto, I use it as a kind of online name but it represents me.
Veldt is an area from my favourite game Final Fantasy 6
Falsetto represents my love for music and singing
I'd say mines appropriate but a friend of a friend's changed his gamertag so many times that now it's just silly

Well I've come across blokes on the cesspool of violence and hollow glory that is xbox live who had funny gamertags and were nice guys. Some of my personal favourites include "Jackofflantern", "Goodgameguru" (Who's actually a mate of mine) and "A good thing".

i actually do not allow people on my friends list if they have two x's in it help get rid of the retards
Same here. Every month or so I do a retard filter and get rid of people that I don't talk to or turned out to be jerks or just weren't that good. I'd rather have 15 good friends instead of 80 I ignore.

Everyone time I try and make a name (GT:Narwhal Ninja) I never put any Xxx_2314_xxX style things.
This is a bit off topic but that's an awesome name

Well I don't have a problem with gamertags even though I do think adding X is not very creative but it's when those people say their gamertag is better then yours for example I have a friend (I know crazy) and his name was iMelodyyy (Just...Just don't ask) and he said his name was better then mine (which is A Diabetic Duck). I'm not full of myself it's just the fact that his name is not that good.

Deg Egron is my GT but the amount of times I get called "Deeeg Eeeegron" is unreal.

Also GT's that are AlLsPeLtLiKeThIs are just stupid. and I'm agreeing with everyone who says about the xx733TSNIPEZxx GT's they might as well have GT's that say xxIam10andIwill\ragequitwhenyoubeatmexx

I like people who boost with gamertags like xXxMW2Pr0SnipaxXx. They give the opportunity to bring out some anti-booster tactics. Make sure you follow them into other lobbies as well!

Seriously though, it is pretty tiring. As far as I know the xX ii Pr0 Xx thing was started by MLG players, so that may explain it. I personally like people with random words or random strings of words.

And things like "iiBluntzzz420" or "Cap A Cop 187" turn my cynicism meter to the maximum. Hell, the whole ideas brought out by "420", "187" and "69" are ironic in and of themselves.

Myself, I just see it as necessary. I only made one because the xbox insisted I do it.

Humanity is ruined, or what? Post your opinions on xbox gamertags.
You had me at X-Box, I don't think I've actually got much against the X-box per say, nor everyone who plays it but I do despise that stereotype so much...

My gamer tag is currently Kilgore Trout, previously Algernon Moncrieff. Cookies for those who gett he references.
Shame on you. Go to the basement!
YOUR NOT MY REAL DAD
That made me laugh waaaaayyyyy too much.

My names dog stilez on xbox live because it wouldn't let me recover my gamertag that didn't have the z.

It also isn't a clever way for me to say the /other/ meaning that people think it means. Its actually a name, which is describing a stile... for dogs...

Hate is a strong word for people I feel sorry for. But I agree that there are some stupid ones out there like A2M Balls Deep or whatever the fuck it was.

Mines is the wholly unoriginal one that I also use here. I set it up late at night the day I got the PS3, and being a) too tired for original ideas and b) desperate to get the thing set up went with an uninspiring initials/numbers combo. Unfortunately I have no idea how to change it now on PSN without setting up a new profile/account and starting from scratch.

It was inspired by The Suffering, which is high up on my list of favorite games.

I actually spoke to one of those douchebags with the x's in thiernames. His tag was "xXHigHRizErxX". Because his last name is Rizer.Neat concept. He actaully thinks that the x's are cool and the mix of uppercase and lowercase leters are "dirty". Yeah....

I use to have numbers in my gamertag, using Random5Insanity and later x5x Bourne x5x however I vehemently disliked the latter and eventually altered such to Bourne Endeavor. Unique and intriguingly catchy if I do say so myself.

Fortunately I have never come across moronic individuals who mock the aforementioned name. My cousin used Jean Guy Rubber (pronounced in french) and was subsequently mocked although such was his intention; a nice bait and switch as he proceeded to counter their insulting when neither realized where Quebec was located.
