Please, put down the flamethrower. Do you see the point I was making there? Yes, anytime you categorically rail on something or someone, you need to explain it. Otherwise, we can assume all kinds of wacky reasons why you don't like it. I personally love my Wii, in part BECAUSE only a half dozen decent games are released for it every year (I have a career and a sex life, thank you very much). And I loved Galaxy and am eagerly awaiting the sequel.

He doesn't need to explain anything if he/she doesn't want to. However you can ask anyone anytime and hope they respond.

I'll tell you why I am not happy with my Wii if you really want, just pm me.

i loved redfaction 1 and 2 back in the day
playing multiplayer redfaction 1 at my friends

then the sequal tht kicked as much ass
but hunting scrap metal kinda turned me off redfaction 3 only played a hour or so
maybe it gets better but i guess ill complete it one day meh

if we had a timer on our wii for how many minutes used playing games
compared it to our 360 and pc
it wouldnt even be a 1/100 as used

fun for wii fit till you get bored
fun for mario kart till you get bored of that
instead of buying a wii should upgrade pc or buy more 360 or ps3 games

If you couldn't get past the nightmare fade in Dragon Origins, you obviously don't know how to think through things or enjoy exploration. It's not that hard, at all, whats so ever. I also regretted Dragon Age, but because the combat was so god damn boring after a while I just couldn't care about the story.

Lets see my laundry list of regretted games within the past few years: GTA4, Sacred 2, Mercenaries 2, Aion, Universe At War, C&C3, NWN2, Brutal Legends to name a few

I either couldn't find much enjoyment in them despite the reviews, or they just plain sucked and I didn't read up on it enough.

almightywabbit, have you ever looked to the original source material for the darkness? maybe, just maybe that might be the reason why there's so much "unnecessary gore and violence" because the comic fans remember the blood and hearts of people being ripped out.
OT: no regrets this year, but overall magic:battlegrounds and blinx are probably the biggest let downs ever

Shadow the fucking hedgehog. fortunately it only cost me £3 but still the biggest load of crap i have ever played. the weaponry and aiming system is flawed, you can't use the running mechanic for fear of running off the edge of the tightrope that is the platform environment (which is a shitty blend of the original sonic sidescrolling and 3D 3rd person)and the fact that no one gives a fuck about Shadow anyway is the cherry on the top. played it for 20 minutes and it has never seen the light of day since. i might microwave it once iv'e finished this, get a bit of entertainment for my money. felt good to get that off my chest.

here is my list:

1)super mario galaxy;
the controls felt awful when navigating on the planets, and were even worse in the water, and the co-op mode was bullshit.

I traded it in for frontlines: fuel of war, a slightly less shitty game(which I sold three weeks later)

2)mercenaries 2;

I preordered this game and I got a buggy mess.
I had to get xbox live to get the patches and the cheat codes to let me wreak even more havoc, like in the first game.

I sold it, along with a few other games to pay for modern warfare 2.

4)psychonauts

I know I'm going to recieve a lot of hate for this, but let me explain:

[spoiler/]I just finished playing brutal legend, and I loved it.

I remembered Yahtzee saying that he didn't like brutal legend, but he loved psychonauts, so I decided to buy it from the live marketplace, and it was pretty good through most of it, and it was fun solving the problems using my wit, and my psychic powers.

Until I got to the last level.

Then it turned into a test of how long I could keep myself from eating my own fingers in frustration.

[spoiler/]that fucking kid just would stay in one place so I had to keep chasing him and his fat fucking rabbit, and every time it just gets harder to get to him.

And I know I'm going to recieve even more hate for this as well, but yes, I did try using the cheat codes, and I still couldn't do it.

And I have a 12 gig hard drive, and psychonauts takes up almost 4 gigs of memory, so I had to delete all of my Fallout 3 data.

I guess this is what you get for asking for the halo 3 edition for christmas.

When did you buy your computer? I have a 10 year old one that came with an 80 gig hard drive.
