And even if by some idiotic happening they do, do you seriously think they'll win? If so why didn't the guys who made red faction take rockstar to court over red dead revolver/redemption? You cannot copyright a single word otherwise nobody would be able to name anything anything, it is within the public domain to name your game anything you like as long as it's not a trademarked name and seeing as Mojang won't be calling this game Scrolls : Skyrim or Scrolls : Oblivion Elders, I highly doubt this is a matter even worth taking in let alone trying to become a martyr for, good sir.

A) Old news, where have you been?
B) Notch has already stated multiple times that he does not want anyone to boycott Skyrim because of this, and that he will in fact still be buying it.
C) One person not purchasing the game will not do anything. A lot of people maybe, but this is a new Elder Scrolls game we're talking about here. People will buy it regardless.

Mojang is a big boy now. It can take care of itself. That's glossing over the fact that you're doing the opposite of what Notch said to do by boycotting Skyrim.

also, stupid reason? i've seen that quite a bit in this thread and i honestly couldn't disagree more. this suit shows something a lot more ugly, bigger companies trying to bully smaller companies for utterly stupid reason. i respect notch quite a bit for taking on bethesda, and unless copyright law is a lot different then how i understand i'm pretty sure bethesda has no case.
