I really want a remake of Heroes of Might and Magic. I've never actually played it, but my friend loved it, and he often tells me about it. It sounded epic! Unfortunately, the only way I could play it would be for me to get a PC running Windows 95. I'd love a new version, all nice and shiny and up-to-date.

A remake featuring all the Timesplitters games on 1 disk. And a remake of Power Stone with both games on 1 disk

That would make me the happiest person ever.
yes, yes, YES. i weep that we'll most likely never see a new timesplitters. and that dreamcast was such an underrated system most people i know have no knowledge of power stone.
Indeed. Capcom needs man up and...

I'd like to see Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II remade; I loved the story and the concept, but the gameplay could stand to have an update, and, quite frankly, I'd like to see the cutscenes rendered in-game as opposed to live action.

A "reimagining" of Fable would be good, with a more dynamic and integrated moral system (with it having more of an effect on the game than the villagers' reactions to you) and more interaction with many more Heroes of Albion than the game originally showed.

Other than that I wouldn't mind seeing something current gen for Jade Cocoon (providing they do it properly)
I own both Jade Cocoons, and the only "two completely different games in same series set" i love more is the Legaia set. Legend of Lagaia was amazing to me, and when the gauntlet would upgrade it was just... a giddy moment.

I would kill people for a Remake of Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magicks Obscura. Firstly, a magical steampunk world would benefit so much from a graphical overhaul I don't know where to start. I mean, the city of Tarant would go from a small bastion of single sparsely populated storey cubes to a grand, filthy victorian city, bustling with people. Secondly, the shell of the story is great, but the implementation is grindy, because the weapons suffer from poor balancing. Thirdly, can you imagine how a proper remake could handle the world? Instead of barely hinting at the racism and sexism, it could be part of the way the game unfolds. Basically, this game would be absolute gold with some 2010 polish on it, and needs to be remade ASAP.

What the ...what the y,you can't just suggest Mutant League Football!!! What a self centered SOB you are! ....Mutant League Hockey too, c'mon man! Go for the whole series! Hoorah!
sorry, I'm an american, hockey just ain't my thing. But I wouldn't mind a relaunch of the whole Mutant League series, hell throw a soccer or basketball game in there, too. Just give me awesome arcade-style sports games with the ability to kill people, replace the ball with explosives, and maul the refs if I so choose.

I'll have to go here. There are soo many modern (production value wise) flight sims out there from WW2 and beyond, but still no proper Star Wars one. Why doesn't Lucas see the gold in this? I mean he is making a decent number of crappy Star Wars games as of late, but is afraid this one wouldn't sell?
yea the space combat game genre as a whole needs to be revived. I like the trade-based ones, too, such as the X series, Freelancer, the EV series, etc.
I'm an American too, I personally hate football but like Hockey, especially M.L. of all things. Nothing like taking a chainsaw to the Mighty Weenies.
I'm a soccer fan, so I feel your pain ;)

so, so many classic 16 bitters (and late 8 bitters)... when there was so much innovation and vision about, but the hardware maybe wasn't quite up to fulfilling it.

like, a proper modern successor to Stunt Car Racer (yes, that of the near-wireframe tracks and four-poly cars (8 including "wheels")), with Screamer to take up the purely arcadey racing side (now that we can do - gasp - SVGA graphics without intense slowdown) ... mega lo mania and/or cannon fodder ... descent (and Tie fighter & its ilk of course) ... Elite/Frontier (and Linewars?) ... pretty much anything Jeff Minter made back in the day (upto Tempest 2000 at the least)... and Rise of the Triad!
Is it too late to actually get a 21st century Duke Nukem game?
Or an up to date Monkey Island (/other lucasarts title) that doesn't suck?

and once again i could probably bang on all night, not least because thats where my formative years were spent. Happily, a lot of what I would choose HAS got recent versions (Colin McRae series, for example) or things that work as analogues (various up-to-date stand-ins for Populous, Midwinter, Mercenary and a raft of arcade titles...)

and decent updates of FF6 and some kind of Worms game* for the DS, thankee kindly
(* this may already have happened ... I've had to ban myself from getting a DS because, honestly, i'd never put it down again, ever)

Silent Hill Shattered Memories is a prime example of remakes missing the point of the original. I would have loved a decent remake of the first game but I doubt anyone is ever going to recapture the magic that Team Silent created. Silent Hill is one of my favourite gaming series but I have to say it's probably best left alone. I'd rather not have any more crappy installments to what is an excellent gaming series.
Agreed. Do it properly or don't do it at all.

SH: SM was actually a good game, not great no, but good. I honestly didn't see the ending coming and I had fun playing it. The chase sections could have been better (WAY better) but overall it was ok. It should NEVER have had the Silent Hill name nor should it have pertained to being a "reimagining" of the original. Just make a damn new game for heavens sake, it only needed a bit of tweaking to more or less be slightly original! It hurts me to know things like this exist :(

Legend of the Dragoon, more cutscenes with Dragoons with current gen graphics = giggity!
Either that or a sequel.
LoD really, really needs a remake. Not a sequel or prequel. But a remake.
It needs more polished writing and better voice actors. It would not only look great in current gen graphics, but it would sound better. LoD had so much going for it, but had some blatant flaws that kept it down. I want to see those flaws ironed out.

Crash Bandicoot 4: The Wrath of Cortex. The last great Crash game IMO. Twinsanity was fine, but after that it all went downhill for me.
Or remake any of Crash 2-4. Never played 1 :(

A remake of FFVII on the PS3 and a remake of FFVI on the DS (you know they're coming)

they actually aren't at least for the ps3 one, enix said it would cost so much because of all the extra stuff in the game. (another reason to hate them!)

BUT legend of dragoon, despite not being that popular would be awesome. it already had some voice acting for a ps1 game
Seriously the amount of begging the FF-fan community is doing for this game is just insane, they would be retarded not to remake it, I'm not saying that this is a sure thing, but it has a high probability of happening.

Pokemon Snap.

Or a sequel or something.

What?
It'd be interesting with today's hardware, that's for sure.
... I can just imagine using the WiiMote as a freaking camera.
To take pictures of goddamn Pokemon.

Yes.

Legendary.

So much potential wasted by crappy graphics and terrible gameplay decisions. Not that graphics make the game but if you are going to show a scene of a guy being ripped in half by a griffon I expect to see red blood. Not some orange crap.

Dungeon Keeper! Admit it, you all would love to play that in shiny HD graphics
Ooooh, that is a good choice.

Oddly enough I want a remake of a game that got a slight remake...or at least an upgrade: Final Fantasy 3 (aka FF6). It really was the best of the set and demanded the most of the player. Oh, and the minigames were fun but NOT mandatory!

Otherwise, if I can't get a new version I'd like a remake of Eternal Darkness. I'd like Thief I and II to get done for the game consoles. And I guess I'd agree with Pimpetter on Morrowind. Hmm, and as an odd one, Pokemon Stadium. I should never have let it go with that fun sushi eating game. :/
