I like to think that Myron was just way too smart for that and faked his own death to avoid drug debts. Or just to change his identity, given that about 90% of the people who have ever met him probably want to kill him by the end of FO2 (well, he wasn't exactly loved beforehand...and then he goes with the Chosen One to defeat the Enclave - that's got to get him some enemies, and I'm sure he annoyed everyone in every town they stopped at on the way).hardlymotivated said:Yeah, I believe it's stated that he ends up getting stabbed by a drug addict in the Den and dies alone in the gutter or something along those lines. I'll just have to remember to stay in New Reno, I guess!Moonpooman said:Isn't he dead?hardlymotivated said:I'd be Myron. Myron, baby, Myron!
Ah...one of the only examples I can think of where a 'deliberately annoying' character was actually funny and amusing to take along. It's Myron baby, MYRON!
I even liked it how he was SO crap in combat, being utterly incompetent at every single possible combat role. That, and the fact that they obviously knew what players would be thinking at that point (with a self-knowing nod to the whole metagaming of party selection): 'What? Can't you work it out? I'm, like, the Science guy! Know all, see all, I'm that guy.' He also has an absurdly low maximum inventory weight unless you demand that he stops being such a lazy git and actually start carrying stuff.
