If you could genetically engineer one attribute into your firstborn child, what would it be?

It's been my question of the week at university and so now I put it to you, Escapist.
Basically the attribute has to be reasonable, no superpowers or extra limbs. And the scientists would tell you that something like "greatest baseball player who ever lived" is a mix of different things. You can have "naturally good at tennis" but not the greatest or best or fastest. And for the sake of argument we'll assume no-one else in the world has access to the technology so this is sort of an extra bonus to your firstborn.

After talking it over with the gf and friends I decided mine would be a love of turtles.
Let me explain, I love turtles and even if my kid was completely different to me in every other way I'd like to be able to share something that would be close to both of us. Hence, turtles.
Not everything genetics related has to be something we don't have.

I don't intend to have any children (Can't anyway...), but...
Purple irises.
What?
I like it. It would look so nice...

One word: Batman.

But if that's too awesome to be realized, I'd go for a taste for epic poetry.

Demon wings. Or Angel wings.

Even though he/she wouldn't be able to use them for flying, they can always be put up on show and hid from sight if they want to.

I would give my firstborn the ability to age a bit slower, yet retains his ability to learn and process information as any other Human being of his age. My reason; he can enjoy his innocence for a longer period then his parents did :p.

Healthy heart valves, I was born really sick with malfunctioning valves and the surgeries have been hell. The thought of passing that onto my kid is terrifying

good looks; he or she will have it much much easier if they are beautiful/good looking

i cannot pass that onto them, but they can have my intelligence, which should do for some at least decent thinking and, later on, job. ^^

Discipline (yes, it's tied to genetics)

It'll help with grades, diet, exercise, and career, and if they're a guy, getting those things will get them girls too, maybe not right away, but a good salary will get women. If they're a girl, they won't need a man and won't waste time and emotion on guys who were never worth it.

Athleticism, I want my kid to love Hurling and swimming as much as I do and to be able to go camping and hill walking with me. Granted, this ties in to health which is the most important thing for any parent I think. Everyone wants a healthy, happy child.

Generally smart. It makes everything alot easier. Either that or charismatic. Cause if you can't do it yourself you might as well convince someone else to do it ^^

I'd want my kid's stem cells to remain in their embryonic functionality, so all his or her temporary or permanent damage would fix itself, and maybe prevent aging.

Intellect. I'd even redistribute points from Athletics, Aesthetics and Acrobacy. Also Charisma, if it's tied to genes in any way.
EDIT: Ok, scratch that. I'd give them really light bones. Then they could, when they have a child, use the same tech to give their child wings.
Foolproof.

Slit pupils or an overall denser muscle structure if it's a boy. Just because when some idiot messes with my kid I want them to whip of their sunglasses and have a glare-down with the other little bugger 'til they wet their pants. With the denser muscles, not only will they be able to runa around and get hit to their little heart's content, but they'll also be able to use the darn things more efficiently because they'll be lighter.

If it's a girl, I'll keep the slit pupil thing but have it be able to turn it on and off. Either that or my ability to read human expression and quickly memorize behavioral patterns. I don't know if that's genetic or self developed, so I wanna be safe.
