If you could have any political figure back you up in a fight, who would it be?

Vladimir Putin. He does multiple martial arts and was a high ranked KGB-officer. He would kick ass pretty bad.
Or Stalin, this dude was a bank-robber and violently fought in the Russian civil war and terrorized the Imperial Russian Government and stuff, he would be not bad as well.

Stalin or Churchill. Come on nobody's picking the massive psychotic bank robber or Britain's hardest politician?

i have to go with national heroes: I raise one Pier Gerlofs Donia aka Grutte Pier.
here have a wikipedia with it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pier_Gerlofs_Donia

come on the guy can simultaneous decapitate sever people and bend coins with his thumbs. I take it we just use fist?

edit: he is a rebel leader btw so don't know how much that counts for political figure

I think Andrew Jackson would be a good pick. First off, he was a Major General. Commander of the armed forces of the Battle of New Orleans. Secondly, he's ruthless. Trail of Tears, etc.

Third, he's tough. He was the first American President who people tried to assassinate. I mean he beat the shit out of a guy who tried to kill him with his cane. That guy's two guns intended to shoot Jackson misfired. Yeah, both of them. Also, Jackson lived half of his life with a bullet lodged between his ribs, what a badass.

Oh, and he won 13 duels, including one against Charles Dickinson [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Dickinson_%28historical_figure%29].

Yeah, that's right. He beat a duelist who had 26 confirmed kills in duels. Not just wins, KILLS.

Damn you don't wanna mess with him.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

First person that came to mind.
why would you choose him since he supports anti gaming laws in the first place?

For the Brits, John Prescott. He knocked out a protester for throwing an egg at him! He's Northern and doesn't take shite from anyone!

Winston Churchill.

Nick Griffin, I don't have to run fast I just have to out run Nick, just knee cap him and leave him to his fate!

Gordon Brown:- Any man with the balls to sell one of Britain's biggest firms to an American investor and then get the UK tax payer to pay for it must be good at fighting as if he ever went to Birmingham I have a feeling they would kick his teeth in, no depth perception though!
