Hell no..maybe my brother. I trust most of my friends, but I wouldn't want them to be burdened with the secret..plus if they were tortured they might give it up. X_X

I would only tell maybe one of my brothers and one of my friends - only the ones i could trust completely to keep it secret.
I would never be able to keep something like that a secret. I would have to tell a close friend or two and my family, just to get it out for one, and then also so I can use said superpower around these people.
Only one person, he's my best friend, I don't keep secrets from him, I trust him more than anyone else on the planet & he's the only person that would believe me anyway.
Depending on how useful the power is, I would. Then I'd have a pretty large servant caste under my control, and I'd be a very happy person for that.
Hell no. The less people know of my shape-shifting powers, the more likely I am to be able to use it effectively (and for teh lulz).
I'd get telekinisis, because I'm very picky about which superpowers I get.
And I probably wouldn't have to tell anyone, as they would certainly find out sooner or later. Moving objects with your brain is one hell of a party trick. My severe lack of judgement whilst intoxicated would surely mean I'd abuse the power for personal gain.

Well that depends on the superpowers. There are some pretty bad ones out there.
I suppose if I had some of the major ones strength, flight, invulnerability, etc. I would wind up telling some people, just people I could trust. Through if I was the only one in the world with those powers I would go to my death bed with the secret.
Say you had Superman's powers, you could pretty much do whatever you wanted whenever you wanted, having a "secret identity" is the only way to do anything normal after people know what you can do.

oh christ no. there is no way i would do a tony stark. all the attention and publicity, you wouldn't be able to have a normal life (you know outside of being a demi-god). plus chicks dig that whole mystery man thing.
I'd let everyone know. Probably crash some major televised event seen around the world to let everyone know that I'm the boss now, and everything's gonna be run my way from now on.
So I guess that would make me a super-villain then.

As it's been said, it depends on the power I have. If it's something flashy like pyrokinesis or superspeed, then I might tell a couple people, or try to start some kind of business around it - using speed to be a delivery man or hitman would be awesome. If it's something that *can* be more subtle, like teleportation, then I'd rather it out of the public eye. I'd definitely only tell it to my closest friends.
no... cause then everyone else wants something too. that and you can get 1. experimented on 2. blackmailed 3. drafted or even if none of those youll be regulated. if i had super strength i would have to register myself as a deadly weapon, cant enter in contests, cant do this, blah blah blah. why not just cheat at life with no one the wiser.
